A Macaw perching on this twig, in real life would never happen. It's more suitable for maybe a humming bird or a tiny finch. And if you over tighten the wing nut the screw will back out of the twig. And I say twig, because that's what it is, a twig. I had expected a longer more stout piece of wood. I don't feel as if I've ripped off. because they weren't expensive, but they were mis-represented as being bigger than they actually are especially with a huge macaw parrot perching on this .Oh well, you get what you pay for.

For my small Parrotlet, I received the order yesterday and was all excited about putting in the cage,but material is so flimsy the screw came out,and the wall around the stew collapsed, not strong, the screw is too big and the material should be stronger,poor quality,bid time

You know I have been having a problem trying to find the right perch for my budgie, either they are to big around or, like this one, way to small! I would say the perch is about pencil size, maybe it would be good for fenches or humming bird? It could have been longer too, just all around small, it was about 6 inches long, not counting the screw and washer part. It seemed good quality.

It’s a perfect size for my cockatiel and pretty sturdy, my complaint and the reason I gave it two stars is because the wood seemed to be fresh cut and stuck on a screw. This caused it to arrive smelling musty and the outer layers were rotting and falling off. The wetness from the branches also kept the washers and screw wet through transit and they were rusted a bit. The problem was solvable by peeling the outer layers with a potato peeler or knife, then baking the sticks in 360-70 degrees for a half hour or so to dry out the branch, and then replacing the washers with clean ones. More of a hassle than it needed to be is all I’m saying

despite the add saying 2 piece, I only got one teeny tiny branch. Here it is next to a regular sized nylabone for dogs for reference. Honestly, probably not worth it. I will keep it because it's more hassle taking it to a post office than it's worth, but very disappointed in only the one teeny branch.

I got a refund initially because for the price I paid was for a package of two like it said in the order and only received one, then after getting my refund (to be used to repurchase) and opened the bag containing the perch it was covered in black spots and the wood appeared gray and had an awful smell. Don't typically leave poor reviews but I don't want anyone else making the mistake of purchasing since it will be for pets, was hoping for a great climbing toy for my ratties and was disappointed.

This is my second time buying. Only this time, I only recieved one of the perches. Not worth the time to send it back
