Koplow Games One D12 28mm Critical Location Body Hit Dice

Just received my dice and they look absolutely great, should help simply things when looking to change conditions up a bit. Container is a small, mesh-type bag that is not the sturdiest but good enough to get the job done. The only suggestion I would make is to increase the size of the small instruction sheet accompanying them - the images are a little small as is the font, and the folded paper creases did make reading it a little difficult. Perhaps consider putting the instructions one or two cards similar to the business card you included? All in all, really appreciate the work you put into these, thanks!!

I love the random hit capabilities

Larger than I thought, at 30 mm. That is just fine. The red on white shows up nice. Though, it would be nice if the lettering were deeper. Overall, I'm satisfied. Got another one on the way. :)Update. got the second one today. You can see, by the second image, the word Chest is a little light on the 'e'. These dice are identical. In the third image you can see they look great. Large and heavy, they make a lot of noise on the table. For nearly $5 a pop, I was expecting better.Also a little disappointed with Amazon. The option to buy multiple dice did not appear until AFTER I purchased the first one. I lost the opportunity to purchase two for the price of one. Further, I could have bought 5 for $9.99.

It can be difficult to constantly come up with descriptors on the fly without any sort of prompts/feedback. These dice help with that. Roll them along with attacks to describe hits/misses and improve your play. You don't have to do it all the time; most people just use these on crits, and sometimes these are used with special injury rules. Personally I think these dice are a bit too limited for those rules, but I still like them.

Certainly a very easy way to determi9ne where you hit on your roll. Better than trying to remember the hit chart in your system of play.

This has come in handy for several D&D adventures. It impressed one of the other players that also DMs and now she wants one. I used it for one adventure with a giant. He had different AC numbers depending on where on his body a PC would hit him. I had them roll the d20 to hit, then this die to determine where the attack hit which would tell the target AC for that attack. It was so cool!

It's great feel in your hands. I can wait to add it in to my area of damage places.
