I noticed a couple of people criticized this case because the "mirror base" did not appear not mirror-like in its reflection. One or more people described it as the silver finish on the box of a microwave pizza. This is not correct; the finish of the 3M cardbaord insert for the base is absolutely mirror-like and reflects ever detail of an model vehicle's undercarriage. However, the 3M cardboard mirror insert does have a semi-clear very thin vinyl protective cover that needs to be peeled off. The thin cover is sometimes difficult to remove but, once it is, the cardboard insert can be used to offer a mirror-like protective coating. With the quality of the acrylic case and the mirror bottom, this case is a good as some I have paid as much as $89. I have about $20,000 in model vehicles and use these cases exclusively - spending more for a case doesn't get a better case; save money on the case and spend it on the vehicles. Congrats to the manufacturer and selling company - you offer great value and superb quality!

When I pulled them out of there individual boxes and "tissue" I couldn't have been happier. They were better than perfect!!

Very well packaged. Good quality acrylic. Nice, tight fitting base and an adhesive reflective flooring panel is included. I make models professionally and these are invaluable. Once I put a model inside it, I never have to take it out to clean it again. I bought 8 and I will be buying them by the dozen from now on.

Well made product for keeping my collectibles dust-free & nice display. A little pricey though !
