I use this for used motor oil. I dump the used oil from my drain pan and the take it to the recycler. This is cleaner than taking the drain pan. The translucent bottle is nice, since this allows me to see how full it is. The opening is nice and wide to make filling easy (for my needs) without a funnel. The smaller cap for the vent seems to come loose easily, or perhaps I did not have it fully tightened.

I actually bought these for work, I know they say water on it but in my mind, I’m thinking water is a liquid. Why can’t they store another liquid as long as it’s not a hazardous liquid so we normally use old peanut oil containers for old motor oil just to keep the shop clean. They all started breaking down and people were not bringing anymore in. I jump on here and I see these. I’m like what the heck we’ll give them a try. They are holding strong. I believe I bought these a few years ago and I’m finally reviewing them now they’ve done everything I needed them to do and more. I’d highly recommend this wonderful product.

Very good and strong

I'm using it as a reservoir for my hydroponic garden and it is working great. I took off a star because when I took off the screw cap on the back of the handle, which I thought was a air intake hole, there wasn't a hole. You will need to drill one yourself if you need it.

I use this for old engine oil and it been good
