The turtle itself is fine. What isn't fine is the fact that the ink from an enclosed paper imprinted itself on the turtle. I originally thought "no problem, it will come off." NOTHING makes it come off. We are still using it. When my daughter mentions it, I remind her that no one is perfect.

This turtle weighs about 5 pounds and is filled with gravel. Too heavy. too uncomfortable for a small child to hold or sit on their laps. I went to a discount store and bought a 2 pound neck pillow shaped like a ladybug. MUCH better for a 3 year who can't sit still. The ladybug on his lap (or in a backpack) has been immensely helpful with him paying better attention and sitting still at school (pre-K).

I was excited to give this to my daughter christmas morning. My girl loves it, but within one day, she chewed off the eyes. I was very disappointed that this special needs toy was not truly safe for her. Wish they could have just had yarn eyes or something that would not break off. Very cute toy that did not work well for our daughter with Angelman Syndrome.

It is quite heavy and good for a "heavy lifting" activity and also, when used in conjuction with a sensory seat, helpful to keep my 3 yr old SPD son seated and focused during a book.

Only had a few weeks and seams are splitting out on the leg...other than that it's a good toy for pressure input for my autistic child

A little too big for small laps... Can't wait til my child grows into it

I purchased this for my Grandson. It's just like the one at his therapy session. We are using it with weighted vest.

Great product for my sensory seniors! The residents love it and have named it Roscoe.
