Seamander Marine Low Back Boat Seat

I got this seat to mount on a pedestal in a small fishing boat. For the price I'm very happy with it! It comes with the bolts to mount it as well, which was nice, and the carrying strap can be buttoned back out of the way when you don't need it. I liked the design a little better than some of the plain similar-priced seats, and it is soft and sturdy for the weight I need it to hold.The metal hinges seem a little thin though, so if I needed a seat to support a lot of weight leaning back against it, I might consider a different seat. But I'm 200 pounds and I can sit comfortably in it and I haven't had any problems yet when I lean back, so maybe it's stronger than it looks!

I would have rated higher. Strap snap broke on third use. I had to replace the snap. Overall am happy with the seat. I already had a snap replacement kit so no big deal but if I hadn’t had it I would have been a bit more displeased. However, snap should last more than three uses. Update. 7/24/19. I bought two seats, The same strap snap on the second seat broke as well. The snaps that came with these seats are either defective or are trash. Dropping my review to two stars, most people don’t have a snap repair kit.

Based on what the actual product is, the seats are a very good match for what I needed for my boat. The quality and construction of the seats are good and they tie in very well with the swivels and pedestals that I bought online as well. I am not sure if it is the seat mount to the swivel to the pedestal, but there seems to be a bit of play which causes the seat to rock when sitting in the boat. It is not actually an issue with the seats at all, it is the mounting from the seat pad to the swivel to the pedestal. Thank you. :)

I mounted these seats on my mini excavator. they have been great.I bought 2 because my 3 year old loves to dig with me. it is an open cab and the seats seem to not waterlog (no wet butt). plus they fold down reducing sun damage. I plan on buying another set for use as bleacher seats. they have a strap to snap them folded that works well to carry the seat with

These seats are just like the others. What really caught my eye was the n stock pattern of the blue and white... very old school looking and the best looking seats I could fold for 50$.Honestly I liked them so much I let slide the fact that one button broken on 1 of the 2 seats. I replaced it with Velcro.

Looks great but dont lean back they are chinsy

I purchased these seats for the golf cart I was restoring. I couldn’t have asked for a better pick of seat for what I needed. These seats are put together very well and the vinyl is a very good quality material. I really can’t say anything bad about these seats for the money they cost.

They’re OK until someone leans back in them. Then the back stretches back and they become permanently deformed in a reclining position. They don’t hold up to use and the back support isn’t strong enough. Had to throw them out after three months.
