I decided to try this “arroz con gandules”in a box, because I’m not a good cook and arroz con gandules is a staple in my family. I live far away from those that can make it from scratch, so had to get my fill some how. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to make and it tasted really good. Obviously, anything in a box can not compare to something made from scratch. What I did was add green olives and and fresh cilantro to the mixture, because I thought it might make it taste more authentic. I will definitely keep this product in my pantry.

They arrived and the inside bag had been wet at some point because the ink was smudged on the outside. I made them and they tasted awful, stale and metallic aftertaste.

I love the taste

Rice taste great unfortunately its too expensive. You can get the same rice from Walmart for less than $2.50.
