Fit great, nice quality
Loved these suits for my little boys. Followed sizing chart and the fit was perfect on both boys, ordered a size 7 for 7yr old, and 2T for my 18 month old (he wears about 24mos to 2T in reg clothes) and they both looked adorable. Very nice quality, and for the price u cannot beat it as it comes with pants, shirt, tie, vest, and jacket

Attractive suit for small boys where the details are well executed
My small son has to attend several dressier type events a year (like his violin concerts and his academic events) and we wanted to get something for him that was a little bit nicer than the usual dress pants and collared shirt. We decided to take a gamble with this pinstripe dress suit and it came just fine about three days later. He is a little bit big for 7 years old but this suit fit perfectly (we ordered a size 8) and we did not need to have it tailored. When I ordered the suit I was hesitant because the suit has a polyester component to it but it turns out that the suit looks very high end and does not have that polyester "sheen" that you see in cheaper suits. The cut is well done and the notched collar looks good for kids living in the United States (where as a peak collar might go better in Great Britain). The pin striping is very well done and follows the cut of the suit, and the buttons are correctly placed. Just remember that the suit is dry clean only if an accident happens. I also like the white dress shirt that comes with the suit and the bow tie and silk pocket square. Perhaps the one thing I do not like about the suit is the zipper tie. I have never seen a tie like this and it is very difficult to get the tie to unzip enough to go over a child's head. Other than that, and this suit for $53 is excellent. I would recommend to other parents and I give it 5 stars!

Read the reviews for this suit prior to purchase. It runs big!
My grandson is tall for his age, but rather thin just like his father at the same age. The suit looks great on him and will do nicely for the wedding we are attending in early March. The pants were very large. I will be able to help somewhat, but having a "slim" option would be great. The shirt sleeves were too short and the neck way to big, but I don't think that we could have done better locally. For the most part, with using suspenders instead of a belt, and keeping the vest buttoned, it will be fine, especially for the price. If he slows down on this verticle growth, we will get more than one wearing of this suit.I am still glad I ordered it, but I am glad I looked at the "comments" from other users who warned that the suit ran a bit large. I was going to order a 10, but changed to an 8.

My handsome grandsons in their new suits.
I adore these suits. I'm encoding a picture of both my grandsons. The oldest one says he wants to be a preacher, and he wants to wear a suit everywhere he goes. The younger one wants to be a gamer and he refuses to wear anything but jeans and T-shirts. I went out on a limb and bought the little one a suit also, and when it came in I showed it to him and ask him to try it on. "I'm good," he muttered and went right back to his gaming. When my oldest one saw his new 6 piece suit, he squealed and jumped up and down and hugged me and thanked me. We kept the suit for the little one and about six months later, he asked for it and wore it to a special occasion. I'm so proud of this picture my daughter sent me, I wanted to share it with other customers as well as the company who sells these.

which was fine because he can wear it longer
I ordered this for my 4 year old to wear. Per other reviewers I was aware of it probably being bigger than expected, which was fine because he can wear it longer! However, I was disappointmet that the neck on the white button down was so small. Every other part of the shirt fit a little big except the neck which of course drives all men, but especially little boys, crazy. I was able to simply keep it unbuttoned at the very top and tighten the tie to fit in place. It would have been nice to have this issue however. Overall it was a great little suit. Quite sturdy, perhaps really warm since its polyester, but that means no wrinkles for the most part. :)

Good but...
Very good quality but just like what other reviews say it is quite hard to find the right size. I bought a size 5 for my 6yr old because most reviewers suggested get 2 sizes smaller. The height of the pants was just right with no room to grow but the waist was too big. The coat was just right. Had I gotten the size 6, the lenght would have been perfect but the pants would have probably fallen off due to the waist size. I wonder if this could be sold separately, like size 6 for coat and size 5 for pants. I still rate this 4 out of 5 because of quality and workmanship.

Runs large, but nice suit
The suit sizing is all over the place. My son is almost 8 and is average height (lean build, small waist). I bought the size 6 and it fits (almost) The vest is still too big and the jacket fits loosely. The pants are just long enough that he will get one use out of them. They will be too short in a few months. But it worked for now as his communion is in April. A size 8 would have been huge on him. We did not try the shirt on because I have a different shirt for him to wear regardless of how it fit. For the price i think it's a nice looking suit.

Good value and good look overall
My son is 14 years old and VERY slim. He also has a long arms. We needed a suit for an event, but weren't able to buy anything locally. Since I was not sure about size, I ordered 14 and 16. Size 14 suite fitted him much better in the waist line for pants and overall in jacked, however, sleeves were too short in both shirt and jacket. Pants were on the verge of being too short within a month or too. So, we kept size 16 for him - I have to move buttons on jacket and vest, hemmed pants, and he had to wear belt to keep pants from sliding down. Overall, he looked good, pinstripe is classy, fabric is good, and satisfactury craftsmanship (few threads to cut, steam iron), good value for a growing boy...
