The first, pillars of the earth, is my favorite book of all time, and that if my husband and friends as well. Highly recommend don’t miss this trilogy it will keep you entertained for days and days and it’s easy to read, excellent historical fiction

I got these as a gift for my dad. Surprisingly thick books, great quality and the author is brilliant.

Ken Follett does love his architecture, and goes into medieval construction in great detail. Luckily, I love architecture too, or it could be infuriating! The stories behind the buildings, though, are gems of earthy passion and good insights into the world of the peasants under the ruthless Norman monarchy and the earls and bishops. Engrossing stuff.

This is an excellent trilogy, Ken Follett is always worth a read, but I really couldn't put these books down.

I always wanted to read the books and I wasn`t disappointed. They arrived on time and I managed to read only the 1st one in the series The Pillars of the Earth. I couldn`t let the book go! A lot of things are happening all the time and you want to see what happens next. I started on the 2nd book in the trilogy and it is just as good. Ken Follett is a great author!

Strange - price detailed on books were in rupees and statement stated that the books should not be sold outside India... I purchased in UK, Amazon UK?Nothing wrong on first glance all in English, hope OK as I purched 2 sets one for each of my sons for Christmas.

Books are in lovely condition and arrived on time. Looking forward to reading them.
