I was looking for a Mini Humbucker to mod my Bronco Bass with. Couldn't find anything specifically tailored for bass that fit the aesthetic that I was going for. Took a chance on this Mini Humbucker and couldn't be happier with the look and sound. Because the original pickup is a strat single coil, the Mini Humbucker upgrade provided a thicker tone and provided some punch. Would absolutely recommend.

Pleasantly surprised ,First off the build of these pickups are outstanding ..These are by no means stamped out cheap pickups.As far as the appearance ,they look tough and well made.I installed these in a charcoal Grey and black Les Paul build and they were the finishing touch.As far as sound, the definitely provide an increase in attack with a noticeable sustain boost..Also you get tons of those awesome harmonic squeaks when edging the string.I'm ordering the gold for a natural wood Tele with gold tuners and hardware and a cream pearl pickgaurd ..

These pickups are heavy duty and sound great in my FireFly LP Jr DC.BUT... They are VERY microphonic when used with high gain.The cure is of course to wax pot them. I use a small crockpot with an 80/20 paraffin/beeswax mix. About 15 minutes does the trick. No more squealing! I bought 2, one is 9.6dcr the other is 10.6dcr.
