Lambro Industries 4004 Quick Connect Flexible Aluminum Duct Dryer Vent Kit

This is an excellent value and EASY to install. I'm a middle aged lady and the biggest issue I had was moving the dryer out and cleaning it! :-)I wasn't able to use the wall mount plate that's included to slide that end of the 90 degree angle/duct onto. It didn't fit over the metal duct pipe protruding from the wall. However, the angle piece still slid onto the metal duct piece protruding from the wall. So no problem, it's just not as "pretty"/finished looking, but it's not really visible once everything was put back.When I bought the kit I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to get the duct pipe expanded without mashing etc. (this has happened to me before with this sort of semi-rigid pipe years ago. However, I had no problems with this one. Just remembered to treat with a cautious "light touch", especially if you need to extend to the full length. No cutting required. Just only expand as much as you need. The white molded pieces all well made durable hard plastic. The angled pieces have a foam-like gasket on each end to get a "seal" on both dryer and wall pipe. I'm not certain how it will hold up over time, but for now it performs it's purpose and eliminates the need for tightening clamps.Bottom line? $13 complete kit? Perfect. Buy it, you'll be impressed with quality for this EXCELLENT deal!

I have to say this did everything it claimed to do. I had tried 6 other products all trying to fit in a small area behind the dryer.This worked perfectly! I’m so glad I purchased it.Before I did, I was having a real problem after I cleaning out the dryer ducts. It was the first time I was doing it alone since my divorce. Im a 55 year old woman and I couldn’t get my dryer connections to stay on without having the dryer stick out too far. Ugh!I worried about kinks that could cause lint to collect. Additionally other products I tried had sharp edges that could cut skin. Or they wouldn’t stay on the wall or on the dryer itself. It was so frustrating.With this one product/device all these issues I just mentioned all disappeared. I was able to connect my dryer to the wall in the small space it had to fit. No kinks and no cut skin. I did it by myself too. I know that may sound stupid, but it’s a great thing when you know you will be able to easily clean out areas in your home that could cause fires or burn out your dryer.I will say it is a little expensive compared to other items Ive tried. But truthfully it’s worth it not to have to struggle every single time, or worry about cutting up my hands trying to reattach the metal connectors. Not with this. Something that was taking me 30 minutes to try and keep readjusting everything just to get my dryer back in it’s place. It now takes me about 5 minutes to get everything back after cleaning out my dryer ducts. Yes, it’s that important to me.

This is a quality product that is made in the USA! My husband installed and I tested this last night and it has a very snug fit due to the gaskets on each end piece. He used a clamp for a little extra holding power on the end that attaches to the dryer and didn't use the wall plate that comes with the product as the end going into the existing wall duct was very secure. Our laundry room is very tiny which made the product difficult to install due to limited access but that is no fault of the product itself; it was worth the contortions my husband had to get into, lol, as this is the first no leak ducting system we've used in over 35 years of trying various products! We highly recommend this dryer duct vent kit.

Tried another product that was supposed to work with 90 degree elbows……..did not fit anything. This product fit PERFECTLY and held on to the dryer outlet as well as the wall…………don’t even THINK about any other 90 degree setup, this one is perfect!

Tried the flex soft tube as well as the metal box. Neither one worked in my situation due to the location of the wall duct near the rear edge of the dryer. This system worked perfectly and enabled the dryer to be pushed against the wall - without crushing the exhaust pipe. Worked so well, I purchased one for a friend who had a crushed dryer duct tube.

replacing a stacking separate washer and dryer units with a single new washtower. I had to pull out the old dryer vent as it's 10 years old and partially torn from moving the dryer out. it's the old flimsy foil on a steel wire too, so cool it's gone. I ordered this as it looks like exactly what I need, a quick connect to the side-vented washtower, run about 5 feet up to the ceiling/bulkhead, and 1 more foot to the outside vent. Got the kit and the 2 plastic pieces look like they were made in the roughest of rough molds, the pieces don't align, the tabs for the 2 halves are jammed in so hard I was unable to remove them even with pliers, but did manage to smash up the tabs a bunch in the process. I need to separate these to get them into a 4" hole, then re-attach them inside the ceiling to connect to the outlet. no luck. paid forty bucks and the only part i can use is the 8' of metal, which is actiually more like 6 1/4 feet fully extended, which is enough for my run, but cuts it close.in the end I need to either cut a large hole in my ceiling (nope) or go buy another kit from somewhere else, because this won't work. great idea but poor execution ruins it. ended up getting the dryer dock for 1/4 of the price and will just have 2 runs one short one in the ceiling.sad that this product is made in the US, because it feels more like what I would expect from ali-express.easy to install 1/5 - not at all easy unless you're simply running it to a nearby wall outlet, in which case you're better off buying the duct and 2 thumbscrew clamps.sturdiness - 5/5 - unfortunately too sturdy, unable to separate the 2 halves of the elbow due to crude tab construction.value 1/5 - over forty dollars and the only pretty good part was the five dollars worth of semi-rigid ducting.edit to add, i managed to pull the 2 halves apart and it was partially fused at the corner and one end so will no longer re-attach even if i manage to replace the tabs that sheared off. hope it's recyclable.

First off. Installation was really easy. Second, great quality. The only thing I would change would be the gasket that goes on the dryey end. It's a little bit flimsy. It still works but I would make it a bit more stiff and wrap around the rim for even easier instalation.
