Rose of Passion (Single) Alchemy Gothic Earring

Roisin Dubh - The Dark Rose - adds a touch of grace to any ensemble, whether it be full Elizabethan Renaissance or a T-shirt and jeans. My Rose of Passion was given to me by my mother for Christmas; I wore it to church with my navy and blue 1400's style Christmas dress, with my hair pulled away from it so it could be seen, and after the service, I received many compliments.It enhances a formal outfit and dresses up a casual outfit. As a long-haired lady myself, I believe that it looks best when long hair is pulled away from it so that it shows up better, but it would certainly look stunning with short hair.Due to its delicate nature, I recommend against any vigorous activity in it, and I certainly would not wear earphones while wearing the Dark Rose. It is best saved for occasions that warrant graceful movements; banquets, balls, religious occasions; and the theatre.The Dark Rose is truly a touch of dark elegance.

After months of looking at this earring I finally bought it. I quickly recieved it and opening it the earring is so pretty I love the design of the earring, however I did have problems getting it on my ear, it took me awhile to get it to set right on my ear, but after I finally got it on I did love the way it looked. So while it got me a few but little problems at first the earring is NOT a bad buy. If you want it then I say buy it.

The transaction went very smoothly! The earring is very well made and I loved the detail! However, it was a little difficult to figure out how to get it to sit on the ear comfortably. There is also a chain attached to one part of the earring that was a little confusing as to where it was supposed to go. Overall it was a good purchase and a great price!

I saw the Rose of Passion around the month of May, but I didn't see many appealing reviews so I was a little bit worried in ordering it, but months later I took my chances, and I do NOT regret it!!The Rose of Passion is the absolute most beautiful jewelry you could ever own! I admit it takes a little time and effort to place it on your ear, but it is a remarkable, well-crafted, unique piece to wear.Since the day I started wearing it, I have been receiving compliments about this ear piece.Trust me, once you get the hang of putting on this you are going to be well-satisfied!! :)

I like the idea of this and bought it for my sister as a gift. It was kind of hard to figure out how to fit it into her ear so that it was lying flush. I'm not sure it is very practical for regular wear (as I imagine hair gets caught on it pretty easily) but a good statement piece.

I thought I already reviewed this, however, I still haven't figured out how to get it on my ear, and I think the chain is supposed to be attached to the bottom of the ear whatever you call it, but it's not. I haven't spent hours trying to figure it out. I think I'll love it if I ever get it on my ear.

I love wearing both the earrings together, it is such a beautiful dichotomy. The rose has a nice chain that peeks about an inch out from under the back of of the ear that's not pictured. Just beautiful.Bad side: The actual earring part is very thin so you can't push it all the way together without pinching your ear. Too beautiful to mark down for that though.
