A tough plastic case that protects the back really well. I am a little concerned that the pop-out stand seems to be weak. So far it has worked well and as long as you are careful the stand should last. This case is more about the protection and for that it great value.

Edit: I bought the kindle fire hd 8 plus. Not the kindle fire hd 8. My mistake. I've changed my rating to 5* because it looks good and if it did fit I think I'd be very satisfied.Original review: It doesn't fit the fire hd 8 I bought over prime day. See photo. I received my cover a day sooner than I expected it, it is what it is, it saves the corner of your tablet, but not the screen !! . i know You can buy another cover that has a cover for the screen, but I'm happy with this cover, its robust and it will protect the rest of it.

Basically appears to be good I have a speech problem, so I was interested in the text to speech situation. The spec's appeared to show it worked out of the box, but you have downloaded an app, I have done this, but the app does not allow saving messages to pre-record a message and save time

The Case itself is very sturdy and good quality , however the support leg is not and broke within a day . I can’t give it a fare review due to the poor support leg . If it was just a review on the case it would be 5 stars

Just what I wanted. The sturdiness is good with the kids. We use it all the time.
