United Curtain Mansfield Woven Grommet Valance, 50 by 18-inch, Plum

Very Nice valances. Heavy duty grommets, came out of package with no wrinkles, and settled into pleats quite nicely after a few days . Color is accurate to site, I bought the red ones, they look great.

Overall, I like the curtains. They are quite dark colored. If you're holding them over a light color, you can't tell they're purple, even when you hold them up to light! I had to lay them out on black furniture to really see it well. I like the feel of them. Kind of soft. They aren't heavy but they aren't unbelievably thin either. In other words, I don't think they'll be phased by an air vent. They are not darkening curtains but they will be good for privacy and the feel of a finished room! I'm hoping they'll seem lighter. I wonder if washing them once would help. Maybe it's too much dye? But I'm afraid I'll ruin them.

Valance was great color unfortunately one valance is shorter than the others. Have to let hem down and then sew it up again. Oh well.

These curtains are amazing. Though they don't black out the light, they still make it dark enough to sleep yet I still know it's morning.

The actual color of the curtain is very dark midnight blue. Pic shows curtain being used with a nickle-colored rod, but what can't be seen are the antique copper eye-pieces on the curtains that the nickle-colored rod is being threaded through. Who would combine those metals and/or why would they not reveal the hardware in the picture or description?

The plum color is pretty but what you can't see on the picture is that the material is a thin waffle pattern, so it's see-through and has no shine to it as it appears in the picture. It's also a lot longer than what the picture shows, although they do state the length. I was disappointed.
