Great PA for the price
This is a great PA for public speaking. Doesn't have blue tooth, and its not super great for music. It probably has more bells and whistles than I'll ever use, with the USB and SD and remote control that i'll never use. It seems to have plenty of inputs and outputs tho. The battery is nice and we've had to do a 2 hour presentation without a plug anywhere nearby so that was a lifesaver. Usually I plug it it, but its nice to know I don't have to worry about that. I got the pyle tripod and have been using both on most weekends. I called the manufacturer (in Chino/Riverside area) when I wanted a second lapel mic pack and they sent one for like $40. Otherwise it comes with a handheld mic, AND a lapel mic. Honestly our speaker like to hold the handheld mic, so we use the lapel mic to zap the laptop audio to the speaker as well. For those who care, we use it with about 50% bass, 70% treble, and maybe 20% echo on the settings, with the handheld mic cranked to max, the laptop/lapel mic at maybe 25%, and the master volume around 40-50%. This is plenty of sound for a medium sized hotel seminar room. We put this in the front corner opposite the presenter and its been working great for 3 months now nearly every weekend. It comes with a black bag to protect the unit, and I put the rest of the stuff in a large ziplock and throw that into the cord bag. Love it.

Great Street Performance Quality!
This works for 10 hours on the street! It also takes 10 D Batt. This thing is powerful and the sound quality is really good. The stand was included. Takes two inputs of audio 1/4" and SD card and USB in mp3 format played the songs I needed. It even has a little reverb built in. I only have two complaints. The Hand held mic you have to remove the batteries to prevent from draining. The other gripe - is no ipod connection. But you can always hook up a 1/8" cable into the system. It also comes with a case to protect it. The headphone and battery pack work really great. Great for churches, etc. Charge up the unit overnight and you get 10 hours the next day on the street. No other system works this long currently that I've researched. I recommend this and I'm happy with the product. It also has knobs for the wireless mic and wireless headset (can both be used at the same time) The mp3 also has it's own knob. Hope that helps you all out there!

Hisonic HS678 Portable Rechargeable PA System
I purchased this PA system for use at quarterly board metings. I used it at our meeting yesterday and it worked great. Everyone who attended said the sound was loud enough and clear and understandable. I am not experience in using a PA system, but it was easy to read through the directions and get it working. The carrying bag is nice to have as well. I would definitely recommend it to others. The only negative I have is that the head set microphone is not able to be bent so that it is close enough to your mouth for people to hear what you are saying. I would recommend buying a second hand held microphone if people in the audience need to use a mic to be part of the conversation.

DOA on arrival
First I tried Pyle, which was a pile of .... And not having learned my lesson, I went with this Hisonic. It arrived with what sounded like a rock bouncing around inside. Apparently something broke off inside and would knock around when you moved the unit. It didn't work. I packed it up tonite to send back. I must say, Amazon is great with it's return policy. But I have finally learned my lesson. If I want junk, I can go with these cheap-o products from China. They have all the right specs and great prices and I imagine that most of them must arrive in working condition, but neither of mine did. Both DOA. Even if they had worked, the question is, for how long. I am spending a bit more money now and going with a Behringer unit. But I have a 3 year warranty and the piece of mind that it will hold up. My other choice would have been Samson, which is also known for quality. Neither the Behringer nor the Samson had all the things I wanted while the Hisonic and Pyle had more than I needed. But it's a question of honest to God quality or slapped together junk that will fail you when you need it most. I am certain that I have finally made the best decision. Both Hisonic and Pyle are EXPENSIVE BARGAINS.

Are you out there?
Handheld microphone never worked and can not contact manufacturer. All else works adequately. Maual is doesn't provide enough detail for unfamiliar people.

Nice unit. Used it once and the PA function worked well. I haven't worked with the MP3 player and other functions yet, so can't comment on them.
