Better than expected
There are a lot of wireless mics on the market and many of them are very expensive. I decided to take a chance with this unit and was pleasantly surprised. The construction and design is very nice. Having 48 channels is fantastic. This was purchased for our church and we noticed one issue; If the mics are off then the receiver will sometimes pick up stray signals that could get into the mixer if the mixer channel is turned up. As long as the mics were on then there was not a problem. There is a mute option on the mic and that works well. As long as the mic is on (muted or note) then the receiver was quiet. The manual is not clear with all the options but I found that double-clicking the button on the mic provides different options. The little receiver has a connection bar that allows you to connect 2 receivers together which then will let you mount the unit into a rack mount for a total of 4 mics. Also each mic can be controlled by a separate mixer channel if using the XLR connection but you can use the line-out connection and get a mix of both channels which can feed into one mixer channel.

Excellent sound!
I'm not an audiofile but these sounded as good as my wired Shure SM-58.If you can figure it out from the shotty instruction manual, the system will find the best channel to use, in which it has very many to choose from. For the price, you would expect only one microphone but you get two amazing ones. Comes with a nice case for traveling, batteries, and also mic clips for mic stands. Uses AA batteries instead of 9-volt like I've had in the past. Great mute function and battery level indicator on the mic too.You can connect from the receiver to your audio mixer with either 'one' adjustable 1/4" mono mixed connection. Or 'two' separate XLR connections.I don't use them professionally myself, but I would expect you can use these for touring the road.

so far so good
It appears the wireless microphones have high quality. Sound is very clear and range is good. The only complaint I have is that some batteries might not work well with the microphones. For instance, if I use any duracell alkaline, the microphone can not even be turned them on. However, I was able to use rechargeables. Originally I thought it's because the voltage of the new duracell is 1.6V instead of 1.5V. After carefully check the difference the battery box, it seems that the positive cap of duracell is not long enough to make contact with the metal plate at the end of the microphones. This appears to be a design issue: the plastic "+" shape separator between two batteries prevent the positive cap from proper contact with the metal plate. Suggestion: use different brands of batteries with longer cap or if you use duracell, try to move the battery (whose positive cap in contact with the metal plate at the end of microphone) around so that it is in a slightly angled position rather than perfectly within the battery housing.

My Second Hisonic Mic Review
I bought this HSU482H set because my other Hisonics sounded so good and captured the warmth and emotion of the vocalists. Unfortunately my "Old' Hisonics had a sliding ON switch that would get turned off in the middle of a performance so I am replacing them with these. I like these better and they sound a little warmer with the same great feedback rejection. When you turn these "ON" they automatically stay "muted" so you have to remember to "unmute" them (double click) when you power them up. The ONLY drawback for me is they have a THREADED "TNC" antenna connector and I need a "BNC" for my antenna amplifier system. (Fry's has the adapter)

Works very well
I am a karaoke dj. I have worked with Shure mics in the past and these are the same quality. Sound is really good. I really like the battery indicator on the mic. The box it comes in is very sturdy and nice. It is very very worth it. The only thing I haven't figured out is that when the mics are turned off there is a little static sound that pops up from time to time but if you leave the mics turned on and on mute then there is no interference. But overall I highly recommend these mics for any small gig or even large ones. If you are a serious professional church or singer then I would go with shure mics but you are talking at least 400$ more. These mics are the nicest mics for the money hands down. I would definitely buy them again if I needed more. Thanks

Far from perfect, but pretty good
I'm a DJ and wanted a wireless mic setup that didn't break the bank, so I got this one. I've used it for about 7-8 gigs so far. Overall sound quality is good. A few problems:- The clicking of the button as you mute/unmute/power off the mic is clearly audible (I try to time it with drum sounds to hide the noise).- If you remove the batteries in between use, it seems like something in the mic discharges, and after you put the batteries back in, it takes a while to charge it back up. While this mystery thing is charging, the mic will not power on.- The 1/4 inch connector in back is loose and if the plug isn't sitting in there just right, the sound will cut out completely.- There have been a few occasions where the static has come through as the mic is being moved around the room.Basically, if you need a reliable, high-quality system with no flaws apparent to your audience, this is NOT the mic setup for you. If you can deal with the glitches and don't mind a few warts, it's a pretty good bargain.

Hisonic HSU482H Wireless System
The wireless system work well. I have compared with Shure wireless. The different is the pick up pattern was too narrow (short).Best distance from the mic and your mouth is within one inch. If over 1 inch the volume was drop down, you can hear the different. I have to tell the Singers be closed to the mic. Anyway, over all, this system is good for the money. I wish to see this system equipped with re-chargeable battery.RE-REVIEW: THOSE MIC COULD NOT HANDLE THE INTERFERENCES. SHURE MIC IS MUCH BETTER. OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE. FOR HOME USE, I THINK IT IS OK.
