PITCHER Espresso Coffee Milk Frothing Pitcher With Built-In Thermometer, Stainless Steel (32 oz)

I'm surprised with the negative reviews I've read here. I've had the 12 oz. pitcher for a couple of months and I think it works great. I like my lattes strong. So I don't use a lot of milk. I fill the pitcher about halfway to two thirds below where the spout begins. I foam the milk until it expands about 50% and then heat the remaining milk (without trying to produce foam). Even with the minimal amount of milk the temperature sensor works well. I've used a thermometer to compare the readings. I discovered, on my pitcher anyway, that heating the milk until the 70 degree stripe glowed bright red got the milk to 140 degrees - the lower level of properly steamed milk. So I continue frothing for a few seconds after it turns sold red. I have never put it in the dishwasher, but I've let it soak in a sink full of sudsy water and it has not shown any signs of rust. This size is perfect for making one latte at a time.

The product is very reliable. I kept thinking the sticker would come off or stop working but it's held up to the heat of steaming milk and hand washing in dishes.

This is a useful pitcher with one drawback. You have to fill the milk up above the label to get a temp reading. The froth provides some reading to an extent, but it's really not accurate. The 8oz pitcher is too small for a large latte and the 20oz is too big if you fill it up enough to get a reading, so I'm always left dumping out milk. It is convenient thought.

I bought this because I needed a frothing pitcher and thermometer for a new espresso machine I bought. This pitcher seemed to be a bit expensive, but I realized that it is about the same price as a pitcher and thermometer, so on that front it's pretty much a wash.Pro:Super simple to use! As soon as the big green dot shows up, you're done. No messing around trying to position and read a thermometer while also trying to keep a whirlpool going in the pitcher.Con:I am not comfortable putting this in the dishwasher, so I clean it by hand. However, the stainless steel makes cleaning super easy, so it still gets 5 stars.Overall:I bought the 12oz model and am likely to buy the larger 20oz one too. Thats how much I like it!

Got the larger 20oz pitcher first but that was too larger for my cappuccinos. The 12oz size is perfect for steaming milk for one person and can even make enough for two 8oz cappuccinos, though the steamed milk is right at the top when done. The temperature label is helpful and I still look at it for a quick idea of how hot the milk is but in time it's easy to get an idea of the temp using your finger on the outside of the pitcher. The seller was very helpful assisting me moving down to smaller size.

We swear by this to heat up and froth milk when we treat ourselves to homemade espresso drinks ok weekends. This is big enough to froth enough milk for two large lattes (with a little extra too). The color indicator helps us to know when it’s hot enough to serve. While it’s disheasher safe we wash by hand so that the indicator doesn’t wear out. We also add hot water in and discard before adding milk so it heats up faster. I highly recommend this for the home barista!

I was about to buy a clip-on thermometer for my frothing pitcher when I stumbled upon this amazing product. It's like magic. The black temperature sensing label turns colors before your eyes. Its so simple to use and makes amazing steamed milk and froth.I'm sure there are some thermometers out there that are good but why bother when this is an all in one. I was a little hesitant and skeptical at first but now I'm a believer. Definitely worth the money!I also bought this at full price and would gladly do so again.

Wow. Great solution for our coffee shop. We bought 8! We've only had them for days (revised below), but all of my employee's are praising them. I don't have to worry about our drinks going out at the wrong temp if an employee "forgets" to use the thermometer. One little extra benefit is that; if you're not watching over a thermometer, you have a little extra time to grab a cup, put milk away, or grab a flavor. I'm not sure how long they'll last, we have to use bleach on them(we rinse them off after) bleach alternatives will not work for us, but I think we'll get a decent life out of them. Very thankful for this product. (revised) We've had them for 4 months now and they're still revolutionary for our company. They've held up to washing and sanitizing great. Still extremely thankful.
