I replaced my table saw with this system
I've been using the adaptive cutting system for about 8 months. I've waited to review the system to ensure I've really been able to put the system through its paces. This is going to be a long review because I want to provide all of my findings. The short review is I love it and I don't really miss my tablesaw.Turning my tablesaw on caused me to experience a lot of anxiety so I decided to take the plunge and sell my tablesaw and buy this.I knew this would always be set up in my shop so the collapsible cart would be a waste for me. More expense and a waste of space below the cart. I bought the table and built a beefy for it to sit on. it houses my shop vac and accessories I use with this system. I'm also able to store my routers and circular saw in it. The dust deputy is housed outside because it would be too tall to fit inside.Dust collection: when hooked up to the system, it does a pretty good job collecting dust but the end of the cut always does it a little extra. I'm wishing in my garage and my wife doesn't want a lot of dust laying everywhere. In the other end of the table is a box fan with a high quality house fan filter to catch the extra dust. Cheap and works great. I don't have a choosing of dust everywhere after using this.I have found this to be extremely accurate in making my cuts. I've been building a lot of shop storage with half inch plywood and this is as accurate as I need it to be.I recently built some drawers using the 1/4, 1/4, 1/4 method. It was time consuming but it worked very well. This is a system that creates 1/4 inch grooves, 1/4 from the bottom of plywood that 1/4 inch plywood bottoms can be inserted into. There are 1/4 dados that run up the front and back of the drawer sides that the drawer front and backs lock into. This system worked quite well to mage those grooves. I did clean up the buttons with my router plane. This works so well that I'm considering selling my compound miter saw. I do need to make a few more miter cuts with this before I decide to do that.I've made a few cuts in oak. I think if you work a lot with 8/4 oak, this would be under-powered for you. It seems to struggle trying to make a full depth cut in 4/4 oak. I find myself sometimes making 2 cuts. I may come back and update this as I finish my shop builds and start working more with hardwoods.

Great for the money
This is exactly what I needed. The set up is not very complicated but I did watch some YouTube videos to take some of the worry about setting it up right away. I did have an issue with the top and ended up calling Kreg customer service and they were awesome. I wish I could remember the lady’s name that I talked to so I could give her a shout out. I’ve played around with it for about 2 weeks now to see what all I can do with it and am very happy with it. It’s a quality product from a quality company. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Good Addition to the Shop
I've have the Kreg track saw for a couple of years and thought this would make using it, well, more useful. I primarily use it to break down plywood which I would then cut to the finished size on the table saw. I'd lay the plywood on top of a foam insulation panel, on the floor, mark my cuts and lay the track down and saw away. It works, but I'm getting too old to be working on the floor and trying to line up the track to my pencil marks. I'm working on a couple cabinets and used it for the first time tonight. It's actually pretty accurate and square. Using the stops in conjunction with the measuring tape that's included will produce accurate cuts. I only purchased the top mainly because space in my shop is limited and I figured I can use existing surfaces to cut from and store the top on a wall rack for easy access when needed, but with less space used. I gave it 4 stars primarily for the horrible instruction book. It takes you through the assembly process with short descriptions and a corresponding illustration. It's hard to see detail in a lot of the illustrations. Do yourself a favor and watch the Kreg video on assembly and the one with tips. Much clearer than the manual. No regrets though, will make working with plywood much easier for me.

Bye bye table saw and mitre saw!
I am very please with this purchase. The Kreg project table has made all types of cuts possible and eliminated the risks when working on the table saw. Make sure you watch all the Kreg videos on YouTube so get everything dialed. I have read some of the bad reviews and I can tell that most if not all are user error related. Take the time and watch the videos and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Kreg for this great tool.

leaves a bit to be desired on this purchase
ordered it, they sent me the wrong product. Went out and purchased one somewhere else. I do have the table. it's awesome and great to work with. I built my own stand for the table top to incorporate some drawers for storage. The hinge devices on the are flawed in their construction. There's "play" in the hinges that you need to be aware of every time you attempt to cut. The play is about 1/4 on one edge which WILL destroy your cut and make it as uneven as a store bought 2x4. The hinges need to simply lock into the table top and move upwards and downwards on a fixed track. Nothing elaborate-just move upwards and move downwards. No internal hinges to play with or screw into the track with a 1/8" tall screw.Second, the tabletop just isn't deep enough. it should easily be accommodate to a 36" using only the table. Instead, you need to buy an extension that locks into the front of the table table to cut something at 36". And then have a way for those extension to contact the floor for a solid base or buy the expensive saw horse from Kreg. Or just completely rework your cutting of you plywood pieces. Your choice. The point is, LOTS of extras go along with this item for proper/effective use. I figured I've got $1000 into the project table now (table top, track, track saw, track extensions, kreg saw horse, etc)
