This bark collar gets the job done. There were a lot of fake reviews for this item when I ordered it so I wasn't sure what to expect. We already had a remote controlled beep/vibrate/shock collar for our dog and we trained her to know that getting a beep meant she'd get shocked if she didn't come to us and sit quietly. So with this collar, we never needed to use the shock functionality. We set it to beep-only and she knows that means she better stop barking.I love that it comes with rubber covers for the shock spikes so that I don't have to worry about accidentally turning the shock setting on - she'll be protected anyways. It's nice to control sensitivity, vibration, and shock separately. I did have to set the sensitivity all the way up to a 7 for my 50 lb short haired dog. I have to remove her regular collar when I put the bark collar on her or it'll beep when she shakes her head (since her tags clink together). I've even heard it beep a few times when it has been sitting on the table and she has barked a few feet away. Sometimes it doesn't go off when she barks, whines, or growls, but most of the time it does.Overall, I'm satisfied. The battery life is great. We only have to charge it every couple of weeks and we don't turn it off when she's not wearing it. I do wish the sensitivity could be fine tuned better and that it was smart enough that the vibration wouldn't start after the first bark/beep, but only subsequent (as an increased warning to stop).

This has been a really great collar for several reasons. First, it is rechargeable (much, much better than the collars that you need to buy specialized batteries for which seem to stop working rather quickly). The charge holds for over a week and the collar displays the charge level each time you turn it on. Second, you can set the collar for either vibration or electric shock (or both) and you can adjust the sensitivity for each very easily to meet the bark needs of your pet. On the negative side, the instructions that come with it are very poorly written and really need improvement. Even so, I still feel that the collar is a vast improvement over the Pet Safe collars and I definitely recommend it.

My previous bark collars finally died after respectable period of use. I really appreciate the variety of settings on these collars too - there are 7 each for controlling the units sensitivity to sound, separate beep, vibration & electric correction levels along w/ battery sensors - all with digital displays. And they adjust well for smaller dogs. These are fabulous - I'm just loving the rechargeable feature after couple years of those pricey little batteries! Now I plug them in for couple hours once a week & ALL 3 are ready to go!! (Quietly)

I ordered this because our new neighbors have a dog and whenever it barks mine takes it as a call to arms. Now whenever he even goes near the other barking dog he gets a signal to stop. The sensitivity is adjustible​, and you can adjust the level of the buzzing and small electrical stimulation (if you choose to use it) separately. The quality of the collar is good and I love that it's rechargable with a USB charger instead of going through a million batteries. Great product.

I bought three of these for my dogs (pug mix) because they will break out into a barking storm anytime the neighbor dogs come out. I've only used the vibrations mode and like that the collars came with rubber caps so that my dogs can wear them comfortably. Thus far the collars have worked really well. I only hear the warning sound go of maybe once or twice and then silence after that. I recommend this product solely based on using the vibration mode as I have not used the shock mode and don't plan to. The collars seem durable my dogs are mostly inside dogs and they don't wear the collars when we are out on walks or the park so I can't attest from usage but they do seem pretty tough. Over all a good product that accomplishes what it sets out to do.

When I bought this product, I read the information and closely read each review. I thought the beep - vibrate system would come BEFORE the shock as a warning. Nope. If the dog sets it off, it beeps and then immediately vibrates and shocks. What is the point of the beeping and vibrating then? I thought he would get a second chance to correct his behavior before getting shocked. I gave it two stars because it has the little rubber pieces that insulate the collar if you put them on. That way, it doesn't shock my pup. I do also like that you can change the shock setting. I have personally tested the shock settings to feel the intensity, but I ultimately decided to use the rubber insulators anyway. WATCH these rubber insulators though because my dog will scratch the collar, and they will fall off.It has held up to my chewing puppy, but unfortunately it has gotten more sensitive as time has gone on. I am extremely disappointed. It used to work great, but now it goes off and scares (I don't use the shock, but the vibration, scares him) my buddy when he shakes or knocks into something (he's a clutz). Not happy. Do not buy.

I have a miniature dachshund who is a stubborn barker. Once he starts barking he doesn't stop until the cause is removed... including a plastic bag blowing in the wind. This is our third bark collar and hopefully the last. He is responding well to bark collar training. Only took one or two barks to catch on and now we can live in peace together.

Got this for my Chihuahua that barks non-stop when I leave. The prongs in the back are too long that I couldn't tighten the collar enough to be effective with him. No doubt that this works with larger dogs or even small dogs with more skin and/or fur on their neck, just didn't work for my little guy unfortunately.Giving it a 5 star because there was nothing inherently wrong with the product. It was super simple to use and the alternative vibration setting is a wonderful option.
