AW7164 Professional Water Pump with Gasket Assembly Compatible with 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2000-2006 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L L62

After checking the 4 pulley bolts where they mount on to front of this pump, I found that the OEM bolts that I removed from the original pump pulley were fine thread but the water pump pulley mounting holes in this pump were coarse thread on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee 6.0 Grand Laredo. Had to make trip to hardware for right bolts. No big deal but for the cost and hassle I would expect this to be right the first time. Could be that in some cases but not all that Jeep used the fine thread bolts on their pumps, so unlike others this was not an exact fit as other reviews state thus one star off.Other then that everything mounted fine and I like the metal impeller rather than the plastic impellers some pumps come with and the price... So if you buy this pump, remove pulley and check the bolts first before you mount the pump to save you a surprise when think you are almost done.

Install water pump on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 limited 4x4 and fits perfect. Did not remove electric fan, space good and install went fine. Old pump kind of burned. Flush radiator system with water hose through radiator both side and engine block both side. Refill 50/50 coolant and temp ok at middle gauge. Pump did great.

This was a good value for the price . It was exactly what i ordered and everything i needed for installation. The delivery was late due to nature's interference and the sellers contacted me to make sure I got it. Will definitely buy from them again.

Part is as described and arrived on time

Quality construction, metal impeller as opposed to the plastic one I replaced. I had discovered antifreeze leaking from the weep hole of the old pump. Several excellent videos online on how to replace it so I did it myself, not too hard.

seems to be a well built water pump with metal prop instead of a plastic liks my old one had. comes with gasket too.

not really an easy install but the part fit perfect and seems to be better quality than the one I replaced gasket is a mid grade that works perfect

Worked perfectly, sealed right up, no leaks, and better flow from the factory plastic impeller.
