Left Nineo, Right off brand. Long but worth the read.
So far so good. I bought these on a whim, as I had a set of Cougar H13, V16 model bulbs for about four years or so. BUT, from the package, those have given me a hell of a lot of trouble, from not locking into the plug on the truck, to flickering and going out at 70 in the middle of the night. As ir were, there were nice and bright, adjusted fairly well from the packagaing, but I should have been more in depth adjusting them. Anyway, enough of those, let's move onto the next set. I had purchased some off branded junk because they were cheap and I wanted brighter lights. They could have been stunning, but their design was flawed. A 360° view, but, the chipsets for the low beams were same side, not adjacent. So, all the light was glowing, intensely, in one direction. I researched and tried to hard adjusting them, but only to just be able to drive. They had virtually no beam cutoff, and no usuable downrange. No matter how hard I tried to adjust. Plus, I reckon it was their power draw, but it interfered with my radio reception on or off. When there were off, the clear channels prior, now came in with static. We hen they were on, forget about the AM/FM tuner. Now, these Nineo bulbs have already impressed me. Instead of having to cut any of the plug off these bulbs, they plug right into my H13 sockets. I do have aftermarket sockets from Autozone, and the seem slightly deeper. The beam cutoff is amazing, and I can actually adjust these correctly. I have them right where I want them, and they are the brightest I have had yet. I will try and update after some use. Left is

Improved Technology
Had to replace a bulb because the wire to the ballast was damaged by the accessory belt (oops). I was using the previous old-style of NINEO H13 and it's quite interesting to see how much the technology has changed. This new bulb is considerably more compact than the old style and has no ballast (or whatever the plastic box is) at all! This should greatly improve its life span unless it overheats or something, but I won't be worrying about that for another 6 months. Lower cost as well. Light color and output is exactly the same as the old style, at least as much as I can tell. I didn't bother to change the undamaged bulb, so if there were any appreciable difference, I'd have plenty of time to notice.

Bright but not blinding
The lights are bright and have a pretty uniform pattern without any dead spots in them. Have had them in my Flex for a couple of weeks and haven't had anyone flash their high beams at me, so don't think they are blinding oncoming drivers. the tabs on the mounting flange are a bit oversized, which made it difficult to insert and turn them in the socket in the headlight housing. The adjustable angle on the bulbs is kinda nice, but is also a bit of a pain as you have to go and find a long straight section of road that isn't busy at night so you can set them up at the best angle for both high and low beam, which involves going back and forth from light to your dimmer stalk and back several times for each light to try each setting. Hopefully they will last

Not the best as described.
Not as bright as I thought they'd be like when I had HIDs, and my right side bulb has been going out lately, I had just bought them in Feb 2019 for my flex. Too pricey for the quality.

Upgrade
A nice easy upgrade from Halogen bulbs.

Work great, easy install - cutoff is a little low and needs adjusting after
Overall the beam pattern is a touch low, which is okay since they are very very bright in the reflector housings.I'm going to leave them low for now as I fear moving the low-beams much higher will annoy oncoming drivers - so far nobody has flashed us though.Much brighter than the OEM bulbs that burned out. They LOOK brighter than traditional incandescent bulbs, but it's mostly due to the intensity of the color. Brighter, more intense light doesn't mean you can see better.Overall a really solid buy if you're looking for an LED swap - particularly for a bulb where you need the HB and LB built into one.
