My favorite Android tablet
I have used many Android tablets (and iPads for that matter) -- I mean close to 30 probably. This tablet is by far my favorite. The size of the screen is a perfect combination of viewable, yet portable. I use this for many things: Meeting notes, Movies, To-Do manager, games, etc.I got this when Google's Project Fi enabled the data only SIM card, having data all the time is awesome!Pros:- Amazing battery life- Great form factor- Always up-to-date with Android- SIM Card compatible with Google's Project Fi- Clean/fresh OSCons:- I wish the charger was USB-C- The charging is a bit slower than I would like, but that's because I'm using to Rapid Charge- GPS accuracy is not as good as my Nexus 6p, so I don't use this for GPS at allOverall I would highly recommend this tablet to anyone that wants an always-on data connection. Although I use Wi-Fi at home, every time I am out I use the 4g LTE connection.

Amused but not impressed
I bought this international LTE version for under $400. For the price, I am fully amused but not totally impressed. It has great sound, nice display, and good performance, but that is where all the pros end. Oh yeah, excellent timely OS updates too. It is a Nexus after all, so that is expected. However, it definitely does not warrant a price tag of $599 on Google Store. It feels well built and solid, but after holding it for 15 minutes or so, it can become tiring because of its weight, and the upper right side can get hot quickly. Memory management is not great as well. It constantly has 600-700Mb or less available memory vs. my Nexus 7 which usually has around 1Gb free ram. Last but not least, battery life is marginal at best.In conclusion, this is a great toy for under $400 but not something practical that you would want to carry around (unless for some professional reasons), especially if you have to pay $599 for it at the Google Store.

Good system that fits my needs.
Knew I was switching carriers and my old tablet wasn't going to be compatible with T-Mobile. Did my research and concluded that this model Nexus 9 would work. Ordered it and received it from Amazon in less than a week (Saver Shipping). Went down to the T-Mobile store and started the switch. They popped in the SIM chip and the number ported over in about five minutes. After hooking the Nexus 9 to the Wifi at home, it tried downloading all the apps I had installed on the other tablet. Also there were some Android updates that needed to be installed. I downloaded the apps first, then applied the Android updates. I kept getting a message that the Android update I just finished downloaded needed to be downloaded again. After this happened a couple of times, I decided to press the factory reset and start again. This time the Nexus got to another Android update and repeated again. Factory reset again, but this time I stopped the automatic app installation and intended to update Android first. This time everything worked out okay. The Nexus 9 is a good size, pretty speedy, good resolution, and has a good duration for the battery. It is 4GLTE compatible with T-Mobile, can't wait to try it on the road. Just a micro-USB port for charging it took about 3 1/2 hours to bring it back to 100%, not especially fast these days with all the boost technology that's out there but good. It is a good system and fits my needs for travel and at home. Recommend.

Best tablet ever
Great tablet. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. The screen is super clear and performance is stellar. I had to do a little tweaking to get it running the way I like it but that's the great thing about a nexus, it's easy to do. The one thing I am having a little bit harder time being used to is the size. I was used to my nexus 7 which was easier to hold. This is a better media consumption device though. Watching Netflix on here at the gym on cardio days is great. I have T-Mobile Sim in it and it performs great. Never get lag because of LTE connectivity.I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a tablet.

Great product at a great price!
This is everything I hoped and asked for. Brand new in the box. Needed updates, took way too long to update, thanks to Android.I purchased this because I was using an iPad Mini 4G and it started to slow after iOS 8. It got iOS 9 and started to slow way down when multitasking between apps. It was slow to answer the phone (using MagicApp) and iOS has a hard time deleting lump sums of pictures and videos. This Nexus 9 is only manufactured one year ago and it's quick as expected and the screen is clear and clean. All the contacts stay in one place. They're not spread between iOS, Google, and other services I use.I was worried when reading reviews that there would be color-bleed on the screen from the LCD, but found there was no bleed on the screen when I got it. No slow motions with multitasking after loading it with my apps and music. The tablet asked for and grabbed my SIM card, detected it was AT&T and started chirping like a happy bird in it's nest near a bird feeder.I'm inexplicably happy with my purchase. Thank you!!P.S. Great Price Point.

barely ok
i was expecting smoothness like the both the nexus 7 i had and the google play version of the lg gpad 8.4. it was not as smooth. it felt clumsy. nothing overtly bad, just a bit slow and not smooth too much of the time. i was not pleased.the screen was nice. the vanilla android is always welcome. but not smooth enough for my taste.

Never want to be without it
I love mine and have had no problems with it including getting lucky enough not to have gotten one with the edge bleed. I have to tip mine and look under the edge to see any bleed at all. I spend lots of hours at the hospital with medical issues so having this I can still do a fair amount of work while sitting there during treatments.

Better than a smart phone...
I carry it every where I go. With Skype I use it for all my calls. Great for texting.

Excellent product.
Excellent product with exceptional quality. Unfortunately was under water for a week during recent flood and the glass is shattered to pieces. Yet to be repaired. I want original invoice for that.
