Dried Eatable Hibiscus Flower 16 oz (2 Pack)

I wish I had looked more closely at this product. I wanted to buy dried hibiscus flowers in order to make a simple syrup for a cocktail program. However, these are preserved with sulfur dioxide and sugar. If you want to eat them as a snack, great! They’re pretty tasty—although you could get basically the same flavor from craisins. If you want to use them for cooking/baking/cocktailing, find a different product. The preservation process taints the flavor, which will negatively affect the final flavor of your product.

these things are the best!! 1st got them at the airport in Denver, at the little stand that sells dehydrated fruit..thought it tasted like fruit roll-ups. I've since tried to make my own but didn't have very much luck. I absolutely love fruit flavored gummies, and fruit roll-ups, etc but have really tried to cut out artificial sweeteners and flavorings, so I've mostly switched to the real fruit alternatives. These are sweetened, but still not too terrible for you, everything in moderation right? Slightly chewy, tangy, kinda like dried cranberry in flavor. My 10yr old sister and all of her friends loved them as well, so I think they'd make a decent kid's snack.

These are good, but honestly super expensive and kind of overly-sweetened. One ounce (a serving) has 16 grams of sugar, and at the price these are, it equates to $32 per pound. Unless my math is way off, but I'm not thinking so.

I received a product that isn't even related to hibiscus flowers. It was some roll-on natural acne thing. I tried to return it and was unable to. Now I'm afraid to try to reorder the hibiscus flowers. I was going to use them in a recipe for Christmas gifts, so it's even too late for that now. Super disappointed.

Never having bought dried hibiscus before, I did not know it would be sugared. The description does not mention it at all. I bought this to feed to my tortoise but her species cannot eat sugar; she does not have enzymes that will digest sugar and it would cause a gut bloom. I'm giving this rating because the description of the product is inadequate. The product is not returnable.

Love my hibiscus flower. Can't get enough of this item. Me and my son fight over them. It is his turn to order us some. Found this item in California when I was home visiting.. glad I found it on line to order

Purchased product to make some butters. Worked fine.

Good price love the delivery factor. Have found them on sale in the grocery store. But these are fine.
