Wonderful Rollator Walker - collapses perfectly - great for cruises
7/2021 UPDATE - I still really like "Rolly" when moving around my neighborhood but I no longer have the easy strength to lift 17 lbs and put in the car.2/2020 UPDATE - still love my HealthSmart Rollator and now the price is even lower. I travel on desert trails with gravel, sand and rocks and it rolls great. I did have difficulty finding a cup holder because of the oblong style bars - problem solved purchased on Amazon the "Drive Medical Nitro Rollator Cup Holder Attachment, Black" for $9.57 and it's perfect as it slides onto bar easily.2/2019 Bought my new purple walker to take on my first cruise last week and it was perfect.Pros: - it was shipped within 2 days and packed extremely well. - collapses - there is an easy screw (looks like a star) that you remove - change the position the wheel and put the screw back. All parts stay connected at all times which is what I wanted.- my absolute favorite is when upright and moving into a narrow space, you simple lift up the strap on the seat top and it reduces the width of the rollator so I found I could move pretty easily in crowds and through narrower doors. And you can do so very quickly.- it was easy to collapse allowing it to sit next to me as I sat in a chair at the end of table. The servers said it was not a problem or in the way.- love the color.- larger wheels made it easy to go over the door breaks and uneven surfaces.Cons - not really a con but a wish - I wish it had a cover so I could it pack easily in the trunk. - getting too heavy 17 lb. to me is not really light weight (2021). - takes me about 5 min to collapse and I have to lift parts to do so - not great during our high heat desert days. This rollator was a splurge for me but am so glad I bought it. I researched constantly reading all the reviews on amazon and other online sites to find just the one for me. I predominately use a cane but with lots of walking my knee gets tired and gives out so on excursions it's best to take a walker. I replaced my Driver walker which I will now donate to a local care home. This was definitely a win-win!!

Magnificent - as long as you aren't taller than 5'9".
Five-stars for a product I am returning because of a design flaw that prevents me from using it? Yes - because though it doesn't work for me, it will work for shorter people. I am really sad to report that this rollator is not suitable for people taller than about 5'9". With a maximum handle height of just shy of 36 inches is simply way too low for me and I'm only 5'11". Handle height is not mentioned on the Amazon web page for this product. Manufactured in China and clearly influenced by Scandinavian designs, this HealthSmart Rollator is well-designed and well-made. But I think the product was intended for the Southeast Asian market where people tend not to be as tall as in Europe and the US. As an importer, I think someone missed the height issue - or simply didn't care since there are plenty of people of 5'9" or less who buy rollators. Anyway, I literally can't use this product. There was enough room on the column with the holes for adjusting the height to add another hole that would bring the handle up to 37 inches or so, but the brake cables are neatly trilled at the existing maximum height. I called the company and customer service was prompt, polite and regretful, but there is nothing that can be done to resolve this issue. So with genuine regret, I am returning the product to Amazon. This really makes me sad because the product is good. It folds very nicely with a small amount of effort required to unscrew two knobs holding the rear legs in place and lock the swivels on the front wheels. Squeeze the sides inward and the rollator compresses to just about 7 inches in width. It will stand upright when compressed like this, which would be great in restaurants for tucking it out of the way. (You could also leave the rear legs down when doing this.) Collapsed, the unit fits nicely in the back seat or trunk. It is small enough that you could find a duffel bag to carry it in for air travel. The 10 inch wide seat is very comfortable and the back rest is wider than I've seen on any other rollator. Overall, sitting on this unit is surprisingly accommodating. They include a small bag that hooks onto extensions of the seat frame and a cane holder. Overall, the unit is well equipped. No assembly is required: just pull it out of the box and you are ready to go. The unit is very maneuverable, though I experienced difficulties because it is simply too short for me. I am really disappointed that I can't use this unit because of the low handles. But people 5'9" or shorter should find this HealthSmart rollator very useful.Jerry

Light, foldable, comfortable
Light (7.7kg or 16.9lb out of the box) and very foldable, fits in a duffel bag. In a couple of minutes it folds down to 39x64x26cm; with a hex key the front wheels can be detached and it goes down to about 29x64x26cm. I bought it for my father and it was easy to carry it to Europe without taking extra baggage space or weight. It is also sturdy and comfortable. There are more comfortable rollators, but not foldable and the price is about double. Folding for normal use is piece of cake, just lift the seat by pulling up the bracket in the middle. Anyone can do that. This helps to make the rollator narrow to walk through tight spaces (I forgot the exact width, about 65cm). I saw people getting out of the subway this way, making the rollator a little bit narrow. I like the big wheels in the front, they can deal with most (normal) obstacles from the road/floor. The brakes are efficient, the block the rear wheels completely, and by pushing the brake handles down the wheels are blocked for parking while sitting on it. The handles are adjustable in height to fit even very tall persons. I do not understand another review here "good if you are under 5' 9". I think it does, one has to bend slightly to keep the balance. I am 5' 10", I am not disabled and I found it comfortable and well built. There is also a cup on the left hand side and a velcro to store a cane. The only problems I found are:1. The cup for the cane protrudes outside the wheel line, making it easy to be hit and extending the width by 1/2".2. The detachable bag used to carry things is not the most practical, but I guess there is no better solution for a (very) foldable rollator.Bottom line: best choice.
