Ella's Kitchen: The Big Baking Book Kindle Edition

The whole family LOVES this book! We purchased this after getting and loving the The Cookbook: The Red One. There were so many great recipes in that one that it was a "yay!" moment when we saw there was another Ella's Kitchen cookbook.Like the Red One, the Yellow One is chock full of kid friendly, easy to make, tasty recipes. And don't think that this book is just about baked goods. It has everything from cinnamon rolls to spaghetti "cake" to quiche to oat bars. I had the kids go through the book and use post-it flags to mark recipes they found which sounded good them. When they were done, there was a sea of yellow and green flags. As for the recipes we've tried, they have all been resounding winners.Cookbooks like these are such a GREAT way to get kids involved in cooking and making healthy eating choices. The recipes don't call for hard to find or processed ingredients. The recipes are simple, short, and use ingredients most of us already have on hand. There are pictures of finished recipes, and tidbits of trivia/information throughout. I really like the "Can I help?" bubbles included with most of the recipes which tells little helpers what they can do. Best part? There's a thank you section in the back of the book for all the kid taste testers. The Yellow One even comes with a page of stickers!I really, really hope there are more offerings from Ella's Cookbooks.

My kids love to help in the kitchen and I loved the idea of a cookbook for them! But this isn't it! The recipes and pictures are both completely unappetizing! There is nothing in here that they would eat. Very disappointing!

I love the recipes and tried a couple of them for my daughter. When she gets older I can imagine using it together with her. Right now she loves to look at the pictures of the kids in the book while I cook. Can definitely recommend this fun book.

I didn't think it was possible to beat the first Ella's Kitchen book (The Red One), but they did it! The Yellow one is EVEN better! So many wonderful recipes with simple but healthy ingredients! Promising years and years of great food, and family fun in the kitchen!

So many great baking ideas. Can't wait to get into the kitchen with my little one when he is a little older. Really fun to read and interactive.

Fab book

The Big Baking Book, and the Big Cook Book, were purchased for my granddaughter who loves to cook and bake. She was very thrilled at the books, and can hardly wait to try out some recipes

As good as the other Ella books but they suffer from one major drawback- too many ingredients in such tiny portions!

These books are so useful. They are filled with so many easy to do recipes that are super easy to follow and healthy. My little boy loves trying all the new food 😊
