Beginner's Guide to Linocut

The book provides clear, and uncomplicated instructions on the linocut and printing process The author also provides good advice on tools and supplies as well that a person starting out will appreciate. All around a great book that is interesting to read and follow along with. I've read other linocut/block printing books that are much harder to follow.

Quite basic and not very unique information. I have never studied printmaking but I have learned a lot just by watching other artists on the internet. This book didn’t really expand upon that and so the problem is really just my expectations of what this guide was going to teach me- totally my fault! I just wanted an intro guide that went into a little bit more depth. But I’m happy to support this author and still glad to have purchased this book.

This product gives you the knowledge you need to cut an ink the linoleum I find that it has fun little projects you can get started right away and I have all the tools at home from leather and wood shop you should get this book as a starting point to learning to ink
