Wireless Magnetic Rear Lights Set - LED, Black, Compatible with Car, Van, Truck

I tow a boat with a trailer board . Have become so sick of traditional trailer boards where you end up on the motorway with half a brake light, a flickering tail light and one indicator because of corrosion or the old fashioned connections jiggle loose - which seems to happen all the time regardless of how new. LED had to be the way. Tried a number of wired and wireless, all seemed really well made but just didn't work properly. Flickering lights, lights that shouldn't were coming on when you applied indicators. Some lights worked only if the main lights were also on etc etc. Started to think it was my car or that the electrics were only designed to work with normal incandescent bulbs.Finally decided to try the Connix ones. More expensive but had good reviews and had won awards. So glad I did. Perfect. Everything works as it should - no flickering and nice and bright. Batteries last 10 hours on a charge, more than enough for me. Best thing - no wires at all other than to charge them up. No threading the flex through the trailer, wrapping round jockey wheel, wire potentially trailing on ground, or plug getting ripped out. Although there is a pairing button on the lights, mine just worked straight away. Comes with double charging USB wires and has indicator lights that tell you charge level. Has tail lights, brake lights, indicator and number plate lights. They all work!!They were designed with farm vehicles in mind, so question for me was how to use with a plastic trailer board. I'm just going to take all the lights and wires off my existing trailer board and be left with the plastic board. Two ways I can see. I like the idea of the lights coming off the trailer board in between trips and into the carry case so they don't get bashed up in between trips. (I might then just leave the plastic board on the trailer permanently.) To fit them, the magnets can come off the lights and you would then be left with a bracket and a hole so will be simple to then bolt them on through the board, perhaps with wing nuts so are still removable. I do, however, like the idea of the magnets - very easy to get on or off. Some reviewers have mentioned that the magnet may perhaps not be strong enough. They seem very good so this may have been that the metal it was sticking to was not thick enough to get a strong enough bond, or had some coating on. My plan is to bolt two 5mm mild steel squares onto the trailer board to get a good magnetic connection and then just use the lights as they are. I'm so pleased to be able to ditch the traditional lights and get ones I can actually rely on. Hopefully this will save you some time in the journey by not buying the cheaper ones that don't work properly - I now have to send them all back - but you may have better luck than me. As mentioned they all seem really well made and its a real shame they don't work as well.

Have bought three cheaper versions previously but signal is so poor they don't work even on small trailers, it's a case of getting what you pay for, 100% recommend these.

Great job, no more wires to deal with. Magnets aren’t quite strong enough though. They have fallen off trailer a few times and I’ve had to go back and search for them. I cable tie them on now but overall a great solution.

Purchased this wireless set to use on my boat trailer. Boat is over 20ft and the lights worked 100%. Charged them fully before use and had no problems. I did use a couple of cable-ties to secure them (for peace of mind) as I wouldn't have known if they had fallen off as there are no wires.

Easy to use no cables.
