Great for between washes
Smells great, but maybe not for you if you’re sensitive to fragrances. Works great between washes to get any excess product off your brush, keeps the bristles nice and soft

Great Daily Brush Cleanser
This is the best brush cleanser for your money. I spray two sprays on each brush every time I apply my makeup, which is usually once a day and while them with a paper towel. I only use Eco Tools as makeup brushes a d the combo makes my brushes last a very long time. I have a mini travel set of brushes and brushes I use daily. I always have the brushes sitting upright in a makeup cup so they can properly dry. I use Bare Minerals powder as a foundation so I can't speak to how the cleaner cleans brushes people use for liquid foundation, but for eyeshadow and, powder foundation, and powder highlighter, this works perfectly. Just ensure that if you are buying any makeup related products online, you purchase from the manufacturers Amazon store...no small business store! Watch out for the fakes! BTW E.L.F. products come in black packaging. If ever in doubt, go to Ulta!

Amazing, but the fragrance is too much
I used this to clean brushes some that I, embarrassingly, hadn’t cleaned in years. I sprayed a good amount while rubbing the brushes on a microfiber makeup removing towel and it worked perfectly. I did it before bed and woke up to fluffy, like new, brushes. The only downside is the scent. It completely gassed me out and lingered for days. That could be my fault, though, because I needed a lot of spray because I hadn’t cleaned the brushes in a while and cleaned multiple brushes. I think if I had used it more regularly, and used less at a time, it wouldn’t be as bad.

Smells good and cleans well
I love this product. My favorite thing about it is definitely the how good it smells, it has a mildly floral smell that I would describe as being soft. I'm very sensitive to smells, many perfumes give me headaches but I really like this scent ( i know its not perfume lol) and I found myself smelling my brushed after cleaning them.I'm also a little embarrassed to admit that I'd never cleaned my brushes before, so they had about a years worth of makeup built up on them. I have the bare minerals and Andre Lorent brushes and they went from caked in makeup (mostly powered) to looking like new again. I now try to clean my brushes about every month. Which makes this a new staple in my makeup routine. I feel like the added hygienic bonus is worth the little bit of time it takes. When I use the product I take a paper towel and fold it in half so the spray doesn't leak through. Then I take on brush at a time and spray them evenly and generously across the top and the sides of the brush. Once I'm satisfied with the amount of cleaner on the brush I swipe it across the paper towel, firmly but not too aggressively with long strokes in different directions trying to get as much of the brush into contact with the paper towel as possible. For bigger brushes I spray more of the product on and do this a second time. The first time I did this I believe I went through three paper towels between about 6 brushes, but now that I do it more often it takes less time and less paper towels to do this. I like paper towels because you can see the makeup residue clearly but I sure that there are many other things that would work just fine as well. The elf brush cleaner is affordable and doesn't seem to leave any kind of residue on the brushes. The smell isn't harsh and the product hasn't degraded or discolored my brushes. When I run out I plan on buying more of this product.

Does Absolutely Nothing
Elf has been on it's game this year. I've been able to replace some of my very high end makeup with their cost effective products because the Elf products were as good if not better and at a fraction of tbs cost.I've been using the It Cosmetics “Brush Bath” (spray) for about 2 years to spot clean my makeup brushes. It's a great product but a little on the pricey side. So I thought I'd try the Elf Daily Brush Cleaner (spray) and see if once again they could deliver amazing quality at an affordable price. This time, Elf failed. The products smells amazing, but little to no makeup actually came off my brushes. I then used the It Cosmetics “Brush Bath” (spray) and instantly all the makeup came off my brushes.I'm not too upset, Elf has amazing products and I'm still a huge fan. But if I'm going to give an honest review, this particular product did not live up to the hype.

Highly fragranced but works
I was in need of a spray cleaner and decided to try the ELF. The reason for only 3 stars is that it has a lot and I mean a lot of fragrance and there are no ingredients listed on the box, the bottle, and their website says to refer to the packaging. My sense of smell isn’t the strongest and this is a strong smell. It doesn’t stink it’s just overpowering. I am also allergic to limonene and a horrible preservative called methylthialazilone which causes all sorts of skin problems. I’ve had great success with their products but fragrance is one of those things that methylthialazilone can be hiding in and in the USA it doesn’t have to be listed when it says “fragrance.” I’ll use this stuff but I’ll give my brushes a rinse which kinda defeats the purpose of a quick cleanse in between washings.

Awesome product
Delivered on time. I do not understand the use of such a large shipping box when the item is so small. Product works so well I won't buy any other brand but Elf. Thank you.

Just buy the soap
It take way too much product to get it clean. I much prefer the brush soap. It’s fantastic!
