Overall this is a very nice looking set. It came in great condition. Holds about 20oz of coffee once you take the grounds into consideration. I have 2 main problems with this.1.) The ceramic scratches very easily. This will get scratched up eventually and that nice matte black finish will look awful.2.) The most important one is that the ceramic just doesn't do a good job of insulating the beverage. By the time I pour my second cup the coffee is lukewarm.Overall while it's a nice looking press in the short term, the long term value just isn't there. Skip these ceramic presses and get properly insulated ones.

This is the third french press coffee maker I own. It replaces the aeropress. I replaced the aeropress even though it makes good coffee. However the aeropress is made from a type of plastic that scares me since I am pouring boiling water into the unit. I was once terrible I'll from using this material. The Neocasa is ceramic and stainless steel, just as easy to clean and the coffee is as good or better. One additional advantage - the Neocasa makes one or two cups instead of only one with the Aeropress - a big advantage when my son visits. I didn't want a 4 cup machine because the result suffers when making only one cup. Lastly, as mentioned, the unit is easy to clean but I only use coarse grinds. This is the manufacturer's recommendation. Highly recommended for the reasons listed above. The perfect size and perfect materials. For the record I regularly purchase Ethiopian coffee.

What is there not to love about this French press!! It's perfect. I love the design, I love how easy it is to use, I love the mug that it comes with. I particularly love the handles! They're shaped in such a way that is ergonomical and I naturally feel inclined to put my thumb on the top of the handle LOL. Also, I tried it and definitely did not disappoint. The material is super easy to clean, it did what it was supposed to do, and now I'll never be without coffee in the mornings :) Blissss!! (and it also matches my modern kitchen)The box it came with was also super well made. Designed so that it is protected from any shipping hiccups. There's plenty of foam in there so nothing moves and the box is hard enough to withstand some banging from the shipping carriers. All good news all around!!

A-. Would definitely recommend this and gift it. Here are some things I like:- 24oz is the perfect size for me. I'm mainly making coffee for myself, and sometimes for my spouse.- Sturdier than the Bodum glass french press.- Finer mesh filter than the Bodum french press. Leaves less sediments at the bottom of the cup.- Pretty packaging and design. I would definitely gift this set.For some reason the french press has a shinier interior finish than the cup. Doesn't impact how they work though.Pro tip: grind quality, freshly roasted beans with a conical burr grinder. Experiment with getting the grind size right to maximize flavor and minimize muddiness.

Arrived broken.Super small! If you only drink a cup or two it’s great but I feel about half the size of my metal one.

Ive been looking for a ceramic press for a while and this one is perfect. Extremely good quality, good heat retention and it doesnt sweat all over the counter like my glass press did. Comes with a very nice matching mug. I would absolutely buy another!Easy to use, easy to clean, if I break it ill buy another before cleaning up the mess

I really like the quality of this french press. I have owned a few glass ones and they all broke. I like the mug that came with it as well. I also like the fact that it hand thrown and made, not just molded ceramics.

Initially I was pretty stoked on this item. It looks good and it's pretty sturdy.One thing to consider is that unlike the glass french press, you can't see the bottom of this one. I usually eyeball my grounds but it wasn't quite possible for me with this one- unless you have a brightly lit kitchen maybe (which I do not).I noticed that the top of the handle had black colouring to some of the pores in the wood. I guessed this was just a discolouration but the black spread around the handle and it became apparent it was mold.The mesh on mine is cut a little big which makes it harder to press down, it's not smooth.I'd say its not easy to clean because of the mold, but if that doesn't bother you you're golden.It's cool looking for sure - but I wouldn't recommend this bad boy for the yuck factor.

The French press was really nice and used it daily. Unfortunately, this morning the pot violently cracked and spilled hot water everywhere. Luckily, I wasn’t close when it happened.

Its a beautiful product. I love my french press coffee, but i dont want the hassle of breaking beakers or the taste of steel so this is perfect. A little disappointed by the size as i was hoping for something a bit bigger but overall im a happy camper

This is a great little french press -- I was looking for a smaller, easy to use press for 1-2 cups every morning and this is perfect!
