Awesome Brush Pens!
I love these. The ink is nice and dark and doesn't bleed on any paper I've tried it on. These will be a staple in my studio

Nice line quality, nice black ink quality, short life span
Really nice brush pens, I liked them a lot. They have a good quality of black ink. The only criticism I have is that they ran out of ink a little on the quick side. It would have been nicer if they lasted a little longer, but I suppose that is subjective based on different people’s working styles. They way that I work they didn’t last much into my 2nd 18x24 in. drawing. The brush pens pretty much turned into a dry brush wash effect after the first one. Not unusable, but not what I was expecting either.

Why do the all the great pens comes from Japan?
If there is one thing that I am picky about, it is pens! I don't know why but boy do I use them! Recommended to me by one of my artist friends. Large tip, with sharp black color, goes on wet but dries quickly. Sakura pens are now being founded in my local stores where I used to order from Amazon exclusively. For sketching or writing. Try them out!

Great overall but will smudge
Will smudge inspite of what the selling bulletins say. Certain nibs will fray with heavy use too.

Waterproof Pigmas a must!
I love these pens for their thick to thin brush qualities and waterproof abilities. Nice deep blacks. They last a good while, too. This is my third purchase.

Love these pens... wish I could buy only the BB (broad) and MB (Medium) in bulk. FB is useless.
Excellent waterproof black pigment pens that can truly emulate a variable-thickness brush stroke. They have become my go-to workhorse pens for illustration. The FB is a little useless (tip is too small to really produce any brush effect) but the MB and BB pens are wonderful... wish I had an endless supply of them! Great black pigment ink on the warm side of black.

The firm tips make these brush pens ideal for the beginner, but still suitable for more experienced artists. They have a great feel and are perfect for sketching on the go to simulate the look of traditional ink on brush without the mess.
