This is an awesome deal! 20 hair bands for like $9. If you go into a store you'll pay the same for maybe 4 or 5. They do come in a plastic bag like someone else has stated, but to me that's not a big deal. Honestly it's easier to store them this way. If you wanted them for a gift you could always find a cute bag to put them in.As for the quality of this product, it's great. Just like any other ribbon hair band I've ever had. They haven't stretched out and they hold my long thick hair back without making a huge crease.I also wanted to address the smell that everyone is complaining about. I don't smell anything out of the ordinary. It just smells like a new hair band. There was no huge burst of chemical smells when I opened the bag. I honestly didn't notice anything. I sniffed them just now and like I said, it smells like a new ponytail.I wanted to talk about the one that has glitter on it. It's fantastic. The glitter doesn't change the way the ribbon works. In the picture it looks like a cream color, it's not, it's whiteThe only thing I'm not crazy about is the black lace isn't what I thought it was going to be. Also there is only one grey color not two. I'm really disappointed that they don't send even amounts of every color. I received 5 dark grey, 1 white, 1 white with writing, 2 white glitters, 2 white with grey design, 2 solid black, 2 lace black, and 4 Tiffany blues.I will attach photos, so you can see the lace and colors.

I bought these because I am trying desperately to get my hair to grow out without excessive breakage. I gave up on heat treating my hair, but with it being Texas in the summer, I can't remove the need to tie my hair up from time to time. These hair ties let me do so without ripping out gobs of hair during removal!I will say that, due to the nature of these hair ties, I can't get the really high and tight ponytails I have gotten with other ties (mostly because I can only get them around my ponytail 3 times). That being said, that's probably a good thing since such tight ponytails have probably contributed to my hair breaking. At home, I just use two to pull up low piggy tails, and I can get them a bit tighter due needing to hold less hair. Even when I wrapped the piggy tails really tight (I think 4 wraps), when I took them down, these ties came off very easily and with virtually no hairs pulled out with them. This makes me hopeful that I can continue tying my hair up without causing too much damage!As another plus, these look so cute when on my wrist. They are elegant and very flattering. And, unlike some of the earlier reviews I saw, the color and counts were all even (2 black, 2 black lace, 2 white, 2 iridescent white, 2 white with grey swirls, 2 dark grey, 4 light grey, 4 teal) and they were all in perfect condition.These are wonderful; and I can't believe I didn't get them in my life sooner!

These are really cute and hold my hair back without a crease/dent being left behind (I've been using the same one for 5 days to see how it holds up). I'm one of those outside who always had a hair tie on my wrist so I can pull hair back as needed, and these fit comfortably on my wrist and look cute as a bracelet. I saw other people say they stretch out easy, but I prefer looping over my hair 3x's so it was a win for me. Also, these don't slip!Packaging was cheap and come without a holder, but for the price I don't really care. They're cute, do their job, and if they do fall apart I have a big pack of them or I can easily order more. 👍

I love these hair-ties! My sister had gotten a similar pack and let me have one. It was my favorite and I wore it on my wrist every day for when I needed it. Well I went and lost that one so I searched for my own pack. I love the variety and I will wear almost every one of these (not the glitter, not my thing). I love how gentle these are on my thin hair. Regular hair-ties would get stuck or break my hair one way or another. These just slide out when I need them to but they stay in when I want them to. I will never go back to regular ones again!

10/20/17: I'm updating my review because it's been a couple years. Same 5 star score, just for different reasons. These hair ties are great and are obviously much cuter than regular hair ties. I've never had one that has snapped; when they're fully stretched out, they just won't stretch anymore no matter how much your ponytail needs it to.They do seem to stretch a little faster than regular hair ties, but if you buy these ponytail holders from ANYWHERE, this stretching will happen. They're still durable, and I think they're way cuter and less painful than regular hair ties, which is why I continue to buy them even though I was disappointed with how quickly they stretched at first. Stretching really isn't a big deal.

I have very thick, coarse hair so I needed hair ties that wouldn’t crease or damage my hair like the goodies hair rubber bands would. I fell in love with the colors (I’m a sucker for turquoise haha!) and my hair stayed put all day without any crease! Definitely recommend!

Love these. They're dressier than simple elastics and I think the wider band is better for my hair - less breakage. I love being able to chose among the different color collections to coordinate with my wardrobe. The price and selection is much better than what I've seen in stores. The four packs I've received so far had no odor or any other issues (another reviewer mentioned a bad odor). I'll definitely be ordering more of these, since I tend to lose them and my cats like to play with them :-)

They are really cute and they do not slip off of my hair. Many types or hair ties slip a lot if they aren't the standard kind. These work really well and they fit around the wrist nicely without being overly stretched out. They also last and can double as a casual bracelet well.
