I’ve tried the cheaper generic replacement heads to save a few bucks, but I always come back to the genuine Oral-B Cross Action refills. There is a massive difference in how they actually clean. The angled bristles on these are the standout feature. They seem to wrap around each tooth and get much deeper into the gum line than the flat, standard heads. I use these with my Oral-B Pro 1000, and they fit perfectly without the loud rattling or vibrating you get with off-brands. One thing I really appreciate is the indicator bristles. They actually fade from green to yellow right around the three-month mark, which is a helpful reminder because I always forget when I last changed my brush head. While they are definitely more expensive than the third-party versions, they don’t fray as fast. One head easily lasts me the full 90 days while still feeling firm. If you want that "just stepped out of the dentist's chair" feeling, these are worth the extra couple of dollars. These Oral-B CrossAction replacement heads are a solid upgrade for my electric toothbrush. The angled bristles really get between teeth and along the gumline, leaving my mouth feeling noticeably cleaner after each use. They’re easy to snap on, fit perfectly, and the bristles fade to let you know when it’s time to replace them. Simple, effective, and totally worth it. My dentist would approve… probably 😄🦷

I love these replacement heads. I have an oral b Pro electric toothbrush, and these will fit any oral b electric model brush except the Genius IQ. I purchased the cross action version. These are my favorite, because they give a really good all around clean to each tooth and help get down where the gum line is without it tearing up your gums. They are featured as removing up to 100% more plaque vs. a regular manual toothbrush. These do such a great job that after brushing my teeth they are and feel squeaky clean. These do so well that I actually look forward to brushing because of how clean and good my mouth feels after brushing with these heads. One great thing that makes these stand out over the others is these have what oral b calls the Clean Maximiser, which is for the bristle technology that will signal when it is time to change the head so you get the best clean. As you use these heads you will know when it is time to change the head to a new one, because the bristles will start to turn in color. For the cross action, the bristles are a dark green color and as you use it they will start turning into light green, then yellow, signaling that its time to change the head. I included in the pictures above what a new brush head looks like, then what it looks like when it's time to toss it out. The head where you see yellow is the one to replace, and all the spots that you see yellow on it was where it was once green. Each head is recommended for about 3 months of use. However if you're someone like me, with all the different things going on day to day in ones life, remembering how long it has been if and when it's time to change your toothbrush head ain't happening. As you use your toothbrush, whether it be a manual or electric, the bristles start to fray and break apart at the ends, and will start to decrease in the performance of plaque and bacteria removal. So knowing when its time to replace is essential to stopping any user error of not knowing whether or not your bristles are frayed enough to change or too frayed to give a optimal cleaning. That's why these are so awesome, they do the work for you. As the color starts to get lighter and look light green, I know it's time to get ready to buy new heads, so then I'm ready to go when the yellow color hits and it's time to replace. These are the real oral b brand heads, exactly like the ones you can purchase from the oral b website or that come in the box with the toothbrush handles when you buy the whole brush. Your oral health affects your entire body so your toothbrush is absolutely essential to invest in. *Info on brush head types- If there is anyone who is interested in the different types of heads offered from the oral b electric replacement toothbrush heads, I have tried and used each one and this is what I have found: for people who have gum problems, or bleeding gums when brushing, or those needing gum circulation and stimulation will do best with the gum care head. This also aids in getting those pretty pink healthy gums. People who are new to electric brushes and to help ease into using the brush heads on your teeth, or have teeth sensitivity, the sensitive care brush heads are good for that. Those will also help with getting your gums acclimated to the change in speed and different kind of brushes, and help in promoting healthy pink gums. The precision clean is a good brush for a tooth by tooth clean and if you have specific areas that need focusing or work on, and will help train you on hitting the tooth surface front, back, top, and bottom on getting all the plaque off your teeth. Brushing too hard or longer than the recommended 2 minutes can can hurt your teeth in the long run (unless your dentist has specifically asked you to brush for longer) and give negative affects, so this brush is good for helping you get all over without wearing anything down or harming your teeth/gums. The cross action is good for a deep clean and is going to be the more intense one out of the bunch, really breaking down any film, plaque and bacteria off the teeth and all along the gumline. The whitening clean or diamond clean is good for those who want to whiten the surface of the teeth while providing a whole mouth clean. And last but not least, the floss action brush is definitely the mac daddy of the lot. It's like the cross action but with flossing effects added, giving a whole tooth clean but also getting down at and under the gumline, in cracks and crevices, and between teeth. This is good for those who have a hard time flossing or can't get in the spots that flossing does, or who get plaque buildup in between teeth and need tartar control and removal of buildup and getting plaque biofilm off the teeth. (Please note that in no way does the floss action replace flossing, you absolutely have to floss to get a good clean mouth, the floss head is what helps out getting down in the gumline to help get what your flossing is not.)

Love these! Switched to an electric toothbrush and settled on Oral B after much research. Best quality vs price ratio I've found. Been using these for about a year and now have perfect gums according to my last dentist visit. Flossing included of course :)

I wanted to order the Oral B brand replacement brushes for my Oral B toothbrush as I knew they'd be well made. Whenever I've bought the knockoff brands, I am not happy -- those are usually thin and don't last long. So often you get just what you pay for and this is the case with these toothbrush heads. They're comfortable but make my teeth feel really clean and fresh. Massages the gum too.

Sto provando diverse testine per lo spazzolino elettrico Oral B e dopo le testine DUAL CLEAN e le 3D WHITE (Che sono davvero ottime) ho deciso di provare anche le CROSS ACTION che risultano essere le più vendute su amazon. Le Cross Action è come se fossero - in un certo senso - le testine "base" dello spazzolino elettrico. La testine ha delle setole semplici e alcune di esse sono leggermente più lunghe e inclinate (angolate, da qui cross) questo dovrebbe consentire di arrivare meglio negli spazi interdentali ma anche lungo la linea gengivale in modo da offrire una pulizia completa. PRO E CONTRO DELLA TESTINA CROSS ACTION ➕ Il vantaggio principale è dato dalla capacità di queste testine di offrire non una pulizia specifica ma bensì una pulizia completa: le setole inclinate permettono di pulire sia linea gengivale ma anche gli spazi interdentali in maniera completa. ➕ Ha le setole blu (in realtà sono quelle azzurre) che indicano lo stato della testine, quando diventano bianche bisogna sostituire la testina. ➕ Come tutti gli altri spazzolino con la sola parte rotonda (quindi a differenza delle testine Dual Clean e trizone) è più comodo per pulire il singolo dente. Anche se le Dual Clean sono davvero da provare. ➕ Nella confezione abbiamo 3 testine. ➖ Non saprei trovare dei difetti a questa testina, probabilmente è la testina quotidiana per eccellenza ma per chi cerca qualcosa che sia più sensibile sulle gengive, o che offra un più efficace effetto sbiancante sappi che può optare su altre testine Oral B ➖ La durata, come tutte le testine Oral B, non è di 3 mesi come ho letto da qualche parte ma di un mese, massimo due. Ma ripeto è un aspetto che interessa tutte le testine oral B ed testine in genere. ➖ Occhio che sia "spedito da Amazon" e nel caso non abbiate l'abbonamento prime, per carelli inferiori ai 29€ potreste pagare un 3 circa di spedizione. CONCLUSIONI Le Cross Action - come detto all'inizio - risultano essere le testine classiche ed offrono non una pulizia mirata (specifica per sbiancare o per altro) ma una pulizia completa. Perfette per l'uso quotidiano. Per chi fosse interessato ad una panoramica generale elenco testine alternative. ➡️ ELENCO MIGLIORI TESTINE ORAL B: * CROSS ACTION Rotonda classica per uso regolare. CrossAction presenta delle setole angolate di precisione che sollevano e rimuovono più placca rispetto a uno spazzolino manuale tradizionale, in un certo senso è la testina "base" * FLOSS ACTION La testina FLOSS ACTION presenta delle setole MicroPulse che penetrano a fondo tra dente e dente per rimuovere la placca e offrire una pulizia simile a quella del filo interdentale (pur senza sostituirlo). * PRECISION CLEAN La testina Precision Clean è studiata specificamente per una pulizia di precisione e per rimuovere più placca lungo la linea gengivale rispetto a uno spazzolino manuale tradizionale. * DUAL CLEAN La testina DUAL CLEAN ha sia parte rotonda sia una rettangolare. Quindi alla già potente pulizia rotante degli spazzolini elettrici si aggiunge un'ulteriore pulizia data dalla parte rettangolare. * TRIZONE Le testine TriZone hanno la forma di un classico spazzolino ma oscillano tra dente e dente per sollevare la placca e consentirti di spazzolare i denti come faresti con uno spazzolino manuale. Perciò si differenziano dalla testina DUAL CLEAN perché non ha la parte rotonda e perché permette di spazzolare in modo classico i denti (mentre con le testine rotonde bisogna lasciare agire lo spazzolino) ➡️ TESTINE PER USI SPECIALI * 3D WHITE È consigliata per usi temporanei (2 settimane) e dovrebbe agevolare lo sbiancamento grazie alla coppetta lucidante, che rimuove la placca superficiale. Personalmente, assieme ad un dentifricio White now ho notato che i denti iniziavano ad essere per davvero più bianchi ma non vorrei fosse solo una mia impressione. Tuttavia con questa testina suggerisco di dare delle spazzolate nei punti che volete sbiancare di più e di non lasciare semplicemente agire lo spazzolino. * SENSITIVE Rotonda classica ma con setole più morbide per coloro che hanno le gengive sensibili. Anche questa è consigliata per un uso temporaneo quando si soffre maggiormente con le gengive e in generale quando si ha l'esigenza di maggior delicatezza in bocca. COMPATIBILITÀ TESTINE Queste testine, compresa la CROSS ACTION, sono compatibile con quasi tutti gli spazzolino Orali B, nello specifico sono compatibili con: 👍Oral-B Triumph; 👍Oral-B SmartSeries; 👍Oral-B PRO; 👍Oral-B Vitality (👎ad eccezione di Vitality Sonic); 👍 Oral-B Pro-Health Power. NON COMPATIBLE CON: 👎 Pulsonic 👎 Sonic Complete 👎Vitality Sonic PS: Infine trovo importantissimo che si sappia come usare lo spazzolino elettrico, perciò vi lascio le "istruzione d'uso dello spazzolino elettrico" rilasciate direttamente da Oral B. ❗ISTRUZIONI D'USO DI ORAL B È importantissimo imparare ad usare lo spazzolino elettrico per due motivi: il primo è per rimuovere davvero più placca e batteri, il secondo è per non rovinare i denti. Per prima cosa sappiate che è completamente diverso dallo spazzolino manuale, con quello siamo noi a dover spazzolare (oscillare), con quelli elettrici no, è lo spazzolino ad oscillare e noi dobbiamo solo poggiarlo sui denti e lasciarlo agire. Il corretto modo d'uso è il seguente: 1 ➡️ Innanzitutto usate il dentifricio che preferite ma accendete lo spazzolino solo dopo averlo poggiato sui denti. Per esperienza suggerisco prima di spargere il dentifricio in bocca e poi accendere. 2 ➡️ Accendete lo spazzolino e applicando una LEGGERA PRESSIONE, LASCIATE agire lo spazzolino per qualche secondo (2 secondi circa) sul dente, quindi vi spostate sul dente successivo. Questa operazioni deve essere effettuata su tutti i denti, per tre volte: una volta per il lato esterno, una volta per il lato interno ed un'ultima volta per il lato masticante (quest'ultimo vale solo per i molari). Quindi ogni dente sarà spazzolato per 6 secondi circa. Volendo dividere la bocca in 4 zone, destra/sinistra e sopra/sotto dovreste dedicare 30 secondi a zona o poco più. 3 ➡️ Una volta spento lo spazzolino, rimuovete la testina, la pulite sotto l'acqua e pulite anche il corpo dello spazzolino se (e solo se) sporco, quindi posate il tutto lasciando asciugare la testina separata dal corpo. Al prossimo utilizza inserite la testina e ripartite dal punto 1. E' importante seguire il punto 3 per non rischiare di rovinare il motore dello spazzolino anche se rimane ben protetto.
