One of my favorite cake artists! Even if you aren't up to some of the elaborate decorating this book contains, the recipes alone are well worth purchasing the book for. The black midnight cake is rich, dark, and moist. Attached is a picture of a cake I made from this book.

This is one of the most incredibly organized and beautifully photographed bake books I have ever purchased. I have made three or four of Rosie's recipes, always with amazing success. As a professional custom wedding and celebration cake artist, I appreciate her aesthetic and flavor combinations. OBSESSED with this book!!!! :)

I have a kindle version but want to order the paperback or hardback ...whicheverI love be this book. Only made cuccakes (my first ever batch and they are to die for!) love this already. Never read her blog until I bought the book. So inspiring. Love happy little books with many great recipes. The only problem is that my family is too far away and my closest friends are always on diet, so I have a small test group lolCan’t wait to cook through it

When I placed my first order of Speetapolita sprinkles from Canada, I couldn't wait for them to arrive and boy was I prepared to start decorating when I opened the box. This book gives you some good, very tasty recipes and hints, so I am pleased all around with the company. For those who aren't into unicorns and the like such as myself, there's still quite a bit to stimulate your creative endeavors.

One of the first ever food bloggers I followed, and for good reason! This book is chock-full with amazing recipes, that never fail! Check out her blog too for even more amazing recipes. The only thing I would say is that it is not for an inexperienced baker. I am quite an experienced baker, and was before reading the book, however, some of the recipes can be daunting if you don't have much experience with layer cakes. But, I love this book and everything in it! I especially use her chocolate ganache recipe with EVERYTHING. Seriously, its amazing. Her chocolate cake recipes are also amazing. If you love layer cakes, buy this book!!!

This is one of those rare books where I have two copies -- a hard copy and a kindle copy. Why? Because one is just not enough!! I have the Kindle copy on my kindle fire -- great for the color pix and links to recipes and techniques. The hard copy to take into the kitchen with me!! I've been in the sugar arts biz for many many MANY years and I think I have just about every book ever made -- but it's rare when a book comes along with such fun, easy and creative projects and awesome recipes to boot! I highly recommend this book for both beginners and seasoned bakers alike. You will NOT be disappointed!!

I love cookbooks, especially baking books, and this one is perfect for my collection! You can tell that Rosie is not just a cake decorator, but an artist as well! The pictures are wonderful. There are many recipes that I know I am never going to try, but I just enjoy looking at them, lol. However, there are quite a few recipes that I can't wait to try, too. I do wish that this cookbook came in hardcover because my toddler has already bent my cover. But that doesn't affect my star rating at all. This would make a wonderful gift for any baker or cookbook lover in your life.

I actually made one of the recipes and everyone loved it. The recipe was very easy to follow.

I bought this book despite the negative review on here and am so pleased I did! Now I buy lots of cake decorating books and I have to say this is the most creative and fun book I now own. I am a new baker and have just decided to set up my own company, however I am no where near an expert or advanced cake decorator. The pictures and ideas in the book are different to any other book I have seen to date and the receipes are beautiful and make outstanding cakes! The cakes are colourful, fun and different and you can also include the children in the baking experience...overall I would highly recommend.

I love this book!!! The recipes are easy to follow and bake really well. I just love all the new baking ideas that Rosie has. Although it is an American book it does (very usefully!!) have equivalent grams for each ingredient.

Have had this a couple of months and it is definitely a recipe book that I will be using again and again. Maybe not for the actual cake recipes though, more for the decorating tips and ideas. I wasn't sure whether to get the book seeing as you can find most of these cakes and sweets on the blog, but it's definitely worth it to have everything in one book to flick through. One of the negative points is that there are quite a few recipes for children which isn't useful for me, but if you have children, great fun I guess!

Brilliant book, followed this lady for long time but used her blog and was so happy to see she done a book.. Recipes are very different but work everytime..

Amazing book! Lots of details and endless possibilities :) it's a joy to read and so easy to follow Rosie even has her own sprinkle shop on etsy so you can really make the recipes come alive

Me ha encantado este libro. Las recetas están muy cuidadas y vienen acompañadas de unas fotografías espectaculares. Trae muchas técnicas y trucos diferentes que suponen un soplo de aire fresco en la tendencia de muchas blogueras de escribir un libro y no aportar nada diferente a las recetas de su blog. Este libro sorprende y atrapa desde la primera página. Sin duda una muy buena compra.

Das Buch von Sweetapolita habe ich wirklich sehnsüchtig erwartet, ich liebe ihren Blog so sehr! Alleine schon, dass sie auch Maße wie Gramm angibt und man nicht noch immer alles umrechnen muss ist schon ein großes Plus! Ihre Rezepte sind ebenfalls klasse. Bis jetzt hat alles funktioniert. Sie macht immer schöne bunte Torten, es wird auf jedenfall nicht langweilig und ihre Fotos sind ein Traum!

Great baking book! She also gives a timeline for preparing frosted layer cakes. Very colourful and fantastic looking cakes and cookies. Unfortunately she uses some coloring which contains azo (not sure if its the right word) In our country it is always declared with this note: Attention! This product causes hyperactivty and unablility to focus for children. There are coloring which are azo-free. (Ex. Dekoback and Decora)

It's a wonder Bakebook with precise recipes. One great thing is that it uses cgs system of measurement. This helps to take exact amount of ingredients, process it and make a perfect bake product, icing and flower creations as described in the book.
