Good product, but be aware of the limitations
In my ongoing effort to replace every incandescent bulb in my house with LED I have been searching for a suitable JC type G6.35 based LED for several fixtures for quite some time. The criteria is that they must be dimmable, and produce comparable light output to the 50W halogens they will replace. These come closer than any I have found yet. They appear to be well made, although it is too early to comment on reliability and life expectancy. Although the description implies that they will replace a 50W halogen, a standard 50W JC halogen has an output of 900 lumens whereas these are only 500 - a noticeable difference, although acceptable for my purposes. Two things to be aware of. These bulbs are very long, 2-1/4" (57mm) including the pins as opposed to the 1-1/2" (38 mm) of a standard halogen. They are also significantly larger in diameter - 3/4" (19mm) at the base while a standard halogen is only 7/16 of an inch across the flattened base. Thus you may have difficulty fitting the lamp into some fixtures. The other caution is dimming, and this isn't really the fault of these lamps. Many fixtures that use this style lamp employ solid-state transformers designed for halogens and do not work properly with LEDs because halogens present a significant resistive load which the transformers require, whereas LEDs are a very small inductive / capacitive load. For that reason the lamps may flash or flicker in such fixtures - or may not operate at all unless you replace the transformer with an LED compatible one.

Causes RF interference!
These installed easily and it's interesting that they actually feel rubbery on the outside. They don't say how many lumens it's supposed to be. But I find that if you put 3 of them together, they approach the brightness of a 12V MR16 10W 500 lumen LED - some of that is due to the lack of focusing that the MR16 has. But I think they are causing RF interference. I use a wireless wall switch and as soon as I installed them the switch has become unreliable. But when I unplug these lights the switch goes back to being reliable. I haven't had it cause any humming in any of my other electronics. But worse I just realized it’s been causing a weird unreliability in my garage door opener!

Good pool light replacement
I used these to replace a pair of halogen bulbs in an underwater pool fixture a few months ago. So far, so good. The old halogen bulbs needed to be replaced frequently (after maybe 20-30 hours of use). These LED bulbs have lasted about that long so far and are still working - I expect they should last much much longer.Though the pins are the same, these LED's are physically much larger than the halogen bulbs they replaced (I had to bend the pins slightly to get both bulbs to fit in the fixture, since they are more than twice as tall). The brightness seems similar to a 50W halogen, or perhaps slightly less bright. The color is much "cooler" / bluer than a typical halogen bulb, but this is expected given the 6000K color temp. For a pool light, this tends to make the pool look more vibrant (similar effect that you get with a high color temp light in a fish tank).

These may not be dimmable but they sure are dim
I'd say about half the brightness of my former 50W halogen bulbs and they don't dim. The output voltage of the transformer is 12.5 VDC at 100% and steps down for 75%, 50%, 25% and Min. No dimming on any of these settings. I even tried it with a 9V battery, which is 3V less than 12V. I would have thought a 25% drop in voltage would noticeable. Looked the same to me. Using these in kitchen pendent lights, primarily for work light. These don't cut ti. The search goes on.

not as bright as mentioned
these lights are ok. not bright at all. also takes sometime to reach full brightness. try finding something better. otherwise ok value for money I guess.

Junk
LED lights flicker as soon as installed. Tried all 6 that came in the package and they all did the same thing. I E-mailed the manufacturer and got no response to the issue. Save your money

Having trouble with using these as a replacement for 12v halogens in my track light pendents.
While they will dim, most of them turn back off when getting full voltage. I suspect the 12v transformer in the pendent track are too far over 12v and the LED shut down.

Stellar customer service. Will definitely use them again in the future.
Stellar customer service. The speed and reliability are out of this world. You will not be disappointed!!
