These do not light
These are the worst matches of all time. It took us this many tries, plus more we threw away, to light a single candle. They break. Do not hold a flame and generally are the worst ever. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Sometimes I Need a Light That Doesn't Come from a Butane Lighter.

The boxes are pocket-sized, contain 32 matches each, and don't leave you with an eco-hostile lump of plastic that will inevitably end up in the landfill. I smoke a pipe, and a match is much the best thing for lighting up tamped-down tobacco, and the wooden part is bio-degradable, as is the thin cardboard box. As I smoke outdoors, passing smokers fairly often stop to ask me for a light, and they are always surprised that wooden matches even exist--and that yesterday's technology works just fine.--Bill Marsano has been a pipe-smoker for 65 years.
