Sturdy Lap top stand
I have used this for holding a Macbook Air 13" lap top for use as an aid to music practice. The stand is quite big but very sturdy so I am pleased with it so far. Easy to assemble. Silver aluminum looks good. It is maybe not the best option if you want a stand to disassemble easily for moving from location to location, but it is possible- you just need to make sure you have all the Allen keys and a bag for the bits and pieces. I feel some form of gadget to clip on to the frame to hold the Allen keys would have been useful if only with a view to tightening up joints over time (like the kind of thing they do for monitor frames). Space on the lap top table is limited to only the lap top so I have had to cobble together something to hold an external SSD hard drive. If you have peripherals to be used with the lap top then you will have a similar issue. There is a wire tidy under the lap top table which is neat. There is a separate attachment for use with a tablet/ipad. It looks the part but I have not tested that.

Great for tablet, phone and small laptop but
It is limited by its design of where you can position it. The whole thing is strong and sturdy well made. However the main arm from the stand has no rotation only the secondary arm can move so you are limited how much you can adjust the position. Easy to assemble, fully height adjustable and functions well.

Perfect
Perfect if needing extra space on desk, this stands alone and if like me on zoom regularly, there is no fear of wobbles, due to desk wobble, during video zoom sessions.Easy to assemble and use, only down side for me - I would like it to be taller as I could then use whilst standing up during video/ zoom meetings..Very happy with quality of itemI Defo. Recommend.

Great laptop stand for bike trainer
I bought this to use with an indoor bike trainer and Zwift. It's pretty good, but I use it fully extended and at the top of its height adjustment, so it's a little bit wobbly, but never been an issue either. It's light and easy to move and holds the laptop safely (or tablet if you want, there's a different mount for that). A heavier, steel base might be an improvement but would probably cost more. A bit pricey but it does the job I wanted it to do. I thought the arm would rotate around the main pilar but it doesn't, there's a wedge that fits into a groove along its back, again not much of an issue as it's easy to move and locate. Handy item.

Stylish, well constructed, easy to assemble but adjustable bracket failed within 1 week.
The media could not be loaded. I so wanted to give this product a 5 star rating but it has some shortcomings. See update below!Yes, it is very sleek and stylish. It is well constructed and easy to assemble too. It holds a 15 inch laptop with ease and holds securely. Am I happy with the purchase, yes but not 100%.So why only a 4 star rating?Well, first there is no way to level the feet, if your floor is slightly off, which means your tablet/computer sits slightly off centre, or on a slightly annoying tilt. If you are OCD about these things, then this may be an extremely annoying issue! This issue could have been address by the designers in one of two ways: adding a levelling, swivel adjustment on the feet of the base (similar to those found on beds and wardrobes) or having a 360 degree ball adjustment on the bracket that attaches to the laptop plate. Currently this bracket only allows you adjust forwards or backwards.Secondly, the computer plate clicks simply into place when attaching it to the bracket mentioned above. If you wish to attach either the tablet or smartphone plates, you cannot simply or conveniently interchange them! You have to unscrew the bracket holding the computer plate from the main stand, then attach a separate bracket and plate for your tablet/smartphone. I know this is a first world hardship but again, this could have been something easily of foreseen and designed into the product. If the designers offered a 360 ball bracket that allows you to easily interchange the 3 attachment plates (laptop, tablet, smartphone) I'd seriously consider buying it. If they bring out an upgraded version of this, it should have these features. So to overcome the shortcomings, I have used the tried and tested way of placing cardboard under one foot to level it out.Another thing to consider, if using this in the bedroom, sliding the feet under the bed stops the stand from toppling. I'm not sure how stable the product would be if using as freestanding. Once you have a heavy laptop on it, and you swing the arm away from the feet, I sense it be easy to knock over.***UPDATE***After one week, the tilting bracket could no longer support the weight of my laptop. One night I was woken up to a crashing sound... my laptop was on the floor. The screw that tightens this bracket cannot be tightened any further. Thankfully my laptop is still working but I so wanted this product to work.Best looking laptop stand by far, unfotunately the bracket failed within a week. May work better with light 11 to 13 inch chromebooks but my 15 Dell XPS was lucky to survive its fall.

Good all-round compromise
It's good, it's sturdy it does a decent job with compromises. It doesn't have an extra swing away joint where it joins the moveable arm to the upright stem but then it doesn't have a sticking out foot or wheels to trip over. It fits smaller devices well and will fit a standard laptop but it is a squeeze and the stability is stretched to the limit. My laptop is a recent upgrade and is very lightweight so I am not sure my previous device would have been safe in use.I like the flat footed base so nothing to trip over there, although it is prone to wobble when loaded up with a laptop. So, all-round it's a compromise that we have made work.
