Great for casseroles that need covers for the initial baking time so the ingredients don't dry out while baking. I use this plus the larger model for all my homemade dishes that I've previously frozen in 8-9" aluminum foil square pans. After removing the casserole from the freezer and it's temporary foil pan I place the frozen casserole in the kitchen aid dish, cover and set the oven for it's cook time and stop time and go about my chores until it's time for dinner and voila set the table and eat a great home cooked meal. Our family loves the convenience and anyone can handle dinner prep with these great dishes and a little meal freezing preparations.

Ok, I just got this delivered. It says 2.8 quarts on the box and engraved in the bottom, but the dimensions are NOT what is listed. the inside dimensions are 9X9 without the handles. It is 12 X 9 with the handles and 3 and 1/3 deep. i will keep it as I do like the size, but it is definitely NOT the dimensions listed. I was going to order the smaller one if I had liked this one. but I now I do not. I wonder if the dimensions on any of them are right according to the amazon site.

This is a high quality ceramic product that does amazing things for making lasagna.Unfortunately, it's not quite large enough for the whole grain lasagne strips, so the strips did have to be broken to fit (but it takes absolutely nothing away from the cooking experience).

Wonderful casserole dish. I love the look and size. perfect for family hot dishes. Attractive on my table of black and white setting. It is quite heavy but so very sturdy, Worth every penny

I love my Kitchen Aid Ceramic 3.2 quart casserrole.

My wife used the KitchenAid Ceramic 2.8-Quart Casserole Bakeware the other day for cooking rice as part of an orange chicken recipe. She liked the bakeware - plenty of room, sturdy, the rice cooked evenly, and tasted good. Would like to see the bakeware come in additional colors besides red (would match well with the black and stainless steel appliances we recently purchased. Minor complaint aside, the bakeware worked well and we look forward to many more uses.Recommended.
