509 Delta R3 Ignite Full Face Snow Helmet with Fidlock (Black Ops - Large)

Noisy helmet with rattles and wind blow by. The shield does not seal tight, or somehow, you get snow flakes (crystals) in your face, and eyes. The electric shield is not without its freezing cloudy spots appearing on the lens at times. As far as the amber sun shield, it fogs up it you don't have it in front of you the entire time.Using it as needed, it will fog up when not it use, no matter what position the vents are in, or the outside air temp. As much as the helmet is aerodynamic with the wind in your face, it is worse than my old helmets when it's a cross wind. Your neck gets tired holding the helmet looking forward in a 20mph crosswind. The rattles are hard to find. When riding down the trail I would hold my left hand here and there to the helmet trying to quiet the rattles, with no real success! The quick connect strap is not as easy as my 2006 Polaris helmet, as the manufacturer has to take into consideration that snowmobilers have on gloves, a neck dickie, and balaclava to make lining up the 2 strap ends. Very frustrating. I rode with 2 other adults who who experienced same issues and frustration. Spending nearly $300 on a helmet, I'm very disappointed. I contacted the seller, and they referred me to the manufacturer to seek satisfaction. Very disappointed!

Nice looking helmet. I love the heated visor in the font. The yellow shaded lens inside will fog up though! If you measure your head the helmet fits true to the size chart. I have liked this helmet so much thought i have bought two of them! Comes with the wires to connecting the heated shield to the battery also has a spare 3 amp fuse.
