Kinpur Vetoquinol Enzadent Enzymatic Toothpaste for Cats & Dogs – 3.2 oz, (2 Pack)

I've brushed my dogs' teeth with Enzadent poultry flavored toothpaste for at least 5 years now. The last 2 tubes seem to have caused them to have diarrhea. In narrowing down the cause, I stopped brushing their teeth and diarrhea stopped. Once I began brushing again, it returned. Anyone else having similar experiences? Has something changed in the manufacturing of this product?

I would give 10 stars if I could. I ordered this from another site, and have been using on my 3 dogs for about a month. I could not afford the teeth cleaning, and the tartar and plaque buildup was very bad on my 2 9 year old dogs. I brush them once a day, and the change is nothing short of remarkable. The back molars were really built up and black, not anymore. Their teeth are white and their gums are a healthy pink. Their fang teeth were half yellow, now they are pure white. To be honest I have used a dental scraper to get the black off, but it came loose with ease. For their fangs I did the same. Just came off with ease. My 4 year old dog had basically the same black on his molars, after about 2 weeks I was able to get a look and most of it was gone without any scraping. He is very difficult, am lucky to get any toothpaste in his mouth. I reordered from Amazon got 2 tubes for almost the price of the one I bought on another site. I always dreaded when the Vet looked in their mouths, now I am looking forward to the new rating I know they will get. I'm totally recommending this and do not see why everyone should have the same luck.

I'm all about preventative care in our rescue Furry Nation Salvation, and taking care of your pets ORAL CARE IS A MUST! So many don't even think about this! For cats, dry food does not clean teeth (crazy myth) and PET toothpaste is needed. Vetoquinol Pet Enzymatic toothpaste (poultry flavor) works well. My dog Bahami LOVES it, my own cat Obi -wan likes it, and my other cat Solo tolerates it well. I even make my dog 'Sit' before giving it as I make it seem like a treat. I brush their teeth 3-4 times a week. Start using it as a treat. Put a small amount on your finger and allow them to lick it for a few days. Then allow them to lick it and swipe their teeth using your finger...eventually introducing a toothbrush a week or so later! This is how I was able to do so with my own pets and the rescues. This should be a positive experience! While on the subject of preventative care, please learn why all cats need wet food in their diet! pLEASE!

The vet gave me two small tubes when I had the dogs' teeth cleaned, and I was afraid it was proprietary - so I was very pleased to find it here on Amazon. I myself think it smells vile, but my dogs come running to get their teeth brushed when I open it, and that's 3/4 of the battle right there. Now, brushing their teeth is almost fun, and they don't fight me on it anymore. No matter how it smells to me, my doggos love this stuff, and therefore, so do I!

My Chiweenie has no problem letting me clean her teeth every night with this toothpaste. We brush every night and our vet said she would not need her teeth cleaning this year. Yes!!! Several other products I tried first were a struggle as she was not happy. So, I would say this product has pleasant taste and is effective…will keep buying!!!! The scent to me is not pleasant. However, I gave five stars because my dog loves the toothpaste!

We have 5 rescue dogs and everyone of them LOVE this toothpaste. We love it too, as it works the best of all the brands we tried. It definitely removes tartar from teeth and gums. Saves us hundreds of $$$ over vet cleaning. The dogs actually look forward to evening toothbrush times now. Good Stuff!

I bought this one from chewy and my dog love it. So coming to Amazon and find this exact same product. I noticed the new product is very liquidy.. smell seems to be the same. Not sure If I am getting a fake product or a defact product.

This is the only dog toothpaste I can get my smallest papillion to use. He is super picky! They all come running for this one!
