Not waterproof
Seemed great at first, but one heavy rain and it's no longer working. Too bad but it did said waterproof.

Waste of time and money
Locks have to be charged and don’t hold a charge long.

Doing well after a couple of months
it feels a little lightweight, and although the shank is solid steel, the body is lighter weight (aluminum?), and thinner, and could probably be smashed pretty easily. That said, it's way cool. It took a while to charge fully initially- a couple of hours- but was then a breeze to set up and I quickly taught it 2 fingers and thumbs on both hands. It holds a charge for a long time; I've checked it with the app several times, and it really does not use much battery. The fingertip positioning is a bit finicky, after the initial training, and it usually requires more than one attempt to open, especially if your hands are wet or shaky like after just finishing a workout. The luxury of not having to carry a key or memorize and take the time to input a combination is fantastic.

Fast to open when you understand it needs some natural oil to read easier.
It's impressive, but should be used mostly indoors out of the elements and strong sunlight. If your fingers had natural oil on them it reads better. If my hands are too clean it has difficulty identifying my prints. So I take some oil from nose or forehead and it opens quickly. Lol. Biggest problem is that it needs power to work, so they have to be recharged periodically. But very accurate and high tech. Quicker than any other lock to open normally.

Requires Smart Phone at all times
If you are swimming at a gym, you want to put the phone in the locker. But if this lock fails, the fail safe is in the locker, so your S.O.L. so to speak. I am sure there are many other limitations for indoor use. I read all the limitations on the outdoor use, so this lock is very application specific. Probably more for professional settings.

NOT waterproof- dont always work
every time after any rain the lock stops working. Wont unlock with the app and fingerprints. Dont know why they dont have a backup key to open the lock. When it dont work, we're stuck. Had to get through my gate for work so I ended up just hammered it off.

My lock has been reliable and convenient
My unit has worked well for me. It takes some patience to get the app working properly, I highly recommend downloading their app off Play Store or Apple Store instead of using the QR code or link in the box (unless you read Chinese). It is not a high security lock, more of an access control device. I wouldn’t use it to deter a determined thief, but it is appropriate for the side gate or a footlocker. Fingerprint scan seems consistently reliable for the wife and I, opens quietly and quickly. It does require changing by USB port every couple months.

Lock pops open
I use this lock for my office in a warehouses. What I like about it is that I don’t have to carry keys around to open the lock, this is super but after more than a week of use, I accidentally find out that the lock could be pulled open! Yup accidentally pull that lock and it pops open so..... very disappointed and can’t be returned. Check yours if you got this lock, make sure it’s locked lol
