TP-Smartclip accessory for Parrot teleprompter 1 & 2 [prompter not included]. Record video with your Smartphone on a Parrot Teleprompter

I bought this to use with the Parrot Teleprompter v2 as I mostly use my iPhone to record my videos for ease of posting and subtitling on social media.I must say it is very well designed and functional.Only a few caveats, which do not affect the score because they are minor and particular.1- the build of the attachment is rigid and relatively thin plastic and I am afraid in the long run it will crack, still in one piece now, but it is early days.2- there is no way one can attach an external shotgun mi onto the rig without modifications, it would have been great it the clip had a cold-shoe mount or a second screwed attachment on top (but I know, one could use a lapel mic easily... and it would make sense).3- this attachment does not allow the use of external cases or lenses... which is not a dealbreaker as wide angle lenses tend to have some vignetting due to the narrow FOV of the teleprompter, but it would have been nice to have as an option.4- the setup is not instant and there is no way to preset the horizontal alignment of the phone, which takes a few seconds every time it is replaced. Not a dealbreaker, but a small peg in the rig would have helped with that. The vertical position can be fixed and that helps majorly anyway.The SOLE SIGNIFICANT issue with it is that the way it is designed and shaped it does not allow the phone to be positioned in a portrait/vertical orientation... which in today's social media world is a significant deal breaker if you were meaning to film with apps like Apple Clips or make videos for facebook or Instagram without going to a computer for editing, cropping and subtitling... had they made it so that it would be oriented both horizontally and vertically for square videos it would have been just perfect. Hence the only star lost is here.Overall I find this a great addition to the parrot teleprompter and would recommend it to everyone as it makes the whole rig a lot more versatile and even handholdable with a small tripod i found...I bought it directly from the Spanish company that produces it as it was slightly cheaper and it reached me in about 5 working days.
