fixed unknown cloudiness issue in 10 days.....!!!
I am just stunned beyond belief with this product combined with EcoBoost. I have been battling an unknown pond problem for 9 months and bought these two as yet another "can't hurt, why not, what do I have to lose other than more money" disheartened stab at a solution. Took 10 days to fix it. About 9 months ago the pond lost it's sparkle, the water wasn't quite as clear, the sun didn't reflect on it. As months went by it then became sorta cloudy, then really cloudy and I could no longer see the bottom. Then for the last 4 months I've seen lots of particles floating in the water. Testing the water always showed it was fine. I did a water change....4 times! each time taking it down further thinking I hadn't changed enough of the water and then incurring not only high water bills, but the cost of the chemicals and bacteria to make the water safe. Each time, the particles and cloudiness came back within days. I then thought my UV system must be on the fritz and that it was little algae particles. So I spent close to $1,000 getting all new bulbs, sleeves, gaskets and ballast. It had no effect. I then contacted a pond company who told me I needed more circulation and aeration. I bought a new external pump and shot that water into the air to both circulate and aerate. No improvement. I've tried Amquel Pond, Seachem Prime, API Pondcare, countless flocculants, liquid bacteria, barley straw, polishing cloths and more in quantities that were massive. Nothing cleared the water and got rid of the floating particles. The water wasn't full of algae, this was not a green issue. The floating particles were actually brown and visible to the naked eye. I got this product along with EcoBoost simply because the manufacturer recommended it and at this point in the game I was willing to try anything. I followed the directions and put it in. I turned off my UV for 4 full days. I watched and examined every day and saw nothing till day 10. On day 10 I wasn't sure if there was a slight improvement or not. It had rained heavy and I thought that might have done something. But by day 11 there was no mistaking it.....it was clearing! By day 12 I could see the bottom again! It is now day 14 and I can barely see any of those particles floating in the water. I do not know if it was the bacteria or Eco Boost that fixed my issue, I still couldn't tell you what my issue was. This is my first time using bacteria in a packet, I've used multiple brands of liquid bacteria. But I am stunned, happy, shocked, and all of that to have my pond back again the way it was. User for life....! I even made a reminder on my calendar for every 2 weeks (how often you use this) so I'll never have this issue again.

Works great but takes some time . . .
I have about a 3/4 acre pond that was very murky, I bought this product and applied 6 packets the first treatment. I was starting to think that it was a waste of money but in the past few days I've noted a marked improvement. I think it is important to note that this product takes time to work; it took about 3 weeks to see the improvement in my pond and some of the reviewers seem to be expecting fairly quick results. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and feel like the pond is swim-able again!

Clear and Clean Pond
Would definitely buy and use again. Didn't harm any fish. Noticed a big difference in the looks of the pond after the first treatment. Cleaner and inviting. Thirty minutes to an hour after doing another treatment my daughter went swimming in the pond with no side effects from just being treated. Product does as stated and does not harm fish or people. Good results and worth the money. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to keep their pond looking good and clean!

$5,000 Challenge
$5,000 challenge!!! I challenge any of the companies who promote algae control with natural beneficial bacteria that they will not be successful in clearing our pond from algae and muck. Our 80,000 gallon pond is 12 feet deep at the deep end, has an 24/7 aerator and 4 pumps circulate 10,000+ gallons per hour through a creek to a lower pond and again up to an upper pond. I have Koi in the pond so I can’t use chemicals to control the algae. The ph level is normal. I have spent thousands of dollars the last 4 seasons trying everything from Bioverse AquaSphere Pro, Aquascape Beneficial Bacteria, Aquascape EcoBlast, Bioverse Rush and Bioverse Vista, New Tech Bio NT-Max and even a $2,000 Ultrasonic system SS200 from SonicSolutions to reduce the algae. This year I thought I would use exclusively The Pond Guy formula. I cleaned the pond in the Spring and once the water temperature reached 50+ degrees, I added the Pond Guy 4 part series which as advertised would lead to a clear pond: Pond Logic Pond Clear, Pond Logic Eco Boost, Pond Logic Muck Away TL and Pond Logic Dye. The result is exactly the same as in past years. Lots of algae growth. All these companies claim that their bacteria will multiply into millions of additional bacteria. So why would I have to add more of their products if that would be true? I think it is all about marketing. Next season I will add none of the companie’s products…unless someone will take me up on the $5,000 challenge. I am putting this review on Amazon as well as on The Pond Guy. Not sure The Pond Guy will post mine. Customer service at The Pond Guy is good but it all about selling another product. With free shipping on Amazon Prime and using my Amazon Credit Card I bought all The Pond Guy product through Amazon.

overpriced for what you get look around
This stuff is pricey and can't be sure how much good it did because I used it in conjuction with muck maid. I am finding people are monopolizing the active bacteria way of pond cleaning and cleaning up themselves on the profit. I tried this and muck maid and both are overpriced for what you get and don't last long. What I did find is the bacteria treatment over-all is working quite well but I ended up doing a shock treatment on my ponds with pure bacteria from www.organicpond.com and that has made a real difference quite quickly and their prices were definitely better than pond clear and muck maid ( 4 gallons for apprx 120.00 that treats 4 surface acres or 1 surface acre for 4 months). However since then I came across a web site called clean-flo who has even better reviews and cheaper product and I think I will try them next since they have been around for 40 years and have done some really large water clean up projects and their prices are the best I have seen. They tout 1 foot or more of muck a season when used with aeration (http://www.clean-flo.com). What I am finding is that active bacteria really can do a great job cleaning muck out of your pond and is a great alternative to dredging when used with aeration but some companies are over-charging for the bacteria such as muck maid and pond clear so do your homework or you will end up spending much more in one place then another.

A lot of variables.....but we now have a blue pond again!
After the TX drought last summer we lost nearly half of our pond to evaporation. My husband decided he was going to use our well pump to start replenishing the pond....to which I was extremely hesitant to do given the heavy metals and hardness of our water. Needless to say, I lost that battle. Fast forward 24 hrs and our depleted blue pond is now a sad, shallow, murky mess. 😭 We gave it a couple months to see if it would settle out....no dice. So I went on the hunt for products. I landed on this product and the day it came in (first picture) I walked the perimeter of the pond and threw all of the packets out towards the middle except four. We waited a few weeks and still...nothing. I let my boys throw out the remaining four packets, and given their mighty 4- and 5-yr old strength, most landed, at best, 3 feet in from the shoreline. Low and behold, a few days later, I walked out there and could not believe what mine eyes were seeing; our geourgeous blue pond was back! There were a few other variables in the mix, but whether it was solely the use of ALL of the packets or a combo of the other environmental factors, it worked. We got a little rain, but nowhere near the downpours we had seen over the last few months which did nothing for the clarity/color; it had been getting consistently warmer, but never dropped below 50 degrees from the time I threw in the first packets. Whatever happened, I don't care because I have my pond back and now my tears are ones of joy 🥹🐢 Not going to lie, I bawked a bit at the price of these things, but probably would have paid the same amount, or more, hiring a consultant to come out and treat our pond professionally (and prob would have sold us a bunch or crap we didn't need). All-in-all, I'd say paying <$100 is well worth the restored serenity and peace. Now to go tackle those hideous weeds and get another load of 'beach' sand for my little diggers 🫡✌️🦖🦕
