I've been buying a generic Freekeh brand from a local grocery store, but I was very excited when I heard a company from near my hometown was offering a new product. Got it in 2 days with Amazon Prime just in time Sunday dinner and it turned out AMAZING! It was very simple, all you need is a pot and water and you have yourself a meal! Great packaging and the spice mix was included in a separate bag. Took me about 10 minutes to soak and then 20 minutes to cook.It had great flavor on it's own, but I added lemon, dill, and some fresh chopped basil to add some color. Paired it with a nice grilled chicken and white wine. Hands down one of the best Freekeh products I have ever tried. There are other products which may be a bit cheaper, but this is the first product i've tried that includes the spices in the bag which turns boring/plain Freekeh into a great dish.I can't wait to try their other flavors!

If you want to improve your health, eat more of this kind of foods, I found this to be delicious and I mixed it with cooked broccoli. Very good vegan dish, a mediterranean diet

16oz isn't as much as you'd think. The instructions on the package call for 2 cups - there isn't even 2 full cups in a bag. That being said, it has great flavor, love the smokiness. I will just seek out cheaper sources.

This product was purchased for maintaining a restricted diet, and choosing a good grain source for protein.

Delicious but very pricey

We love it! It cooks a little like rice. takes a little longer. But, the measure is about the same. I use 1/2 of the bag for 4 adults and it makes more than enough. ( 3 grown men- one ME)... ;) Flavor is excellent! Very filling!

It tasted fine but it is quite expensive for the quantity.Also it includes a "flavor package" like when you get Ramen or Rice A Roni and similar to those products the "flavor package" is LOADED with sodium (just loaded!!!====="Would you like some Freekeh with your salt?")Also they cram the flavor package in the bag and when you take it out a lot of Freekah ends up on the floor.I'm confident that a better Company sells Freekeh at a better price, well packaged and not sky high with sodium, I'll keep looking for that.

Delicious! My new favourite grain! I just discovered freekeh as it was part of my Hello Fresh delivery last week. Amazing with shawarma spiced chicken, tabbouleh salad and a dallop of plain yogurt!

I am happy with Amazon purchase.But this one picture it was big but small package for the price. Bought 2 package green and normal will help me with my fasting time. Thanks
