Currently I work in retail and brought these shoes as needed something that provided protection when working in the warehouse, yet were smart enough to be worn on the shop floor. Had these shoes for 4 months now, despite daily use they have little evidence of wear and tear. Having both been hit repeatedly by cages of stock and used to kick the occasional thing, the shoes are still in good condition. Other less fasionable saftey shoes I have used I was needing to swap out every few months as they looked like they were about to fall apart, meaning these shoes currently are a great deal when conidering price and life span of the shoe. As for the fit I found these ahoes to be slightly wide on my feet, but that is to be expected and was quickly rectified with a set of insoles. Although the insoles were an addional cost this is a benfit as it means people with slightly wider feet than most will be able to use them as well, without having to buy a size to big just to get the width. Highly recommend to people who want smart shoes and dont want to end up with broken toes.

Please note I have over some years now ordered many pairs of these real leather (NOT 'plastic' as one reviewer asserted) safety shoes since signing up with Amazon. The generous fit allows use of a "work" or hiking sock. They wear-in very quickly - a couple of days- with no real discomfort before then. They also seem to be waterproof. Nothing lasts forever, though, and when the shoes "fail" it has sometimes been the sole splitting through being bent frequently at the ball of the foot, when for instance kneeling is necessary during very many site measurements. They then might not be waterproof, instance when walking through puddles. However, I consider the service life of these shoes to be more than adequate. (No sole has ever "worn-out" though.) Being a size 9 1/2, I use the size 10 for sitework and the size 9 for meetings and general use. These shoes also clean and polish-up well. Excellent V-F-M!

I was pleasantly surprisef when these arrived three days earlier than advised and have worn them all week. They are a good fit, albeit more comfy with a thicker sock and look smart. This is important to me as I work mostly in the office but have to gave a safety shoe out in the yard.I would recommend these to others in my position and have already done so to our hr department.

Just what I wanted for work where safety shoes are mandatory on the shop floor. Very comfy. My only criticism is that the liner is coming away from the inside of the heel where you slide your heel down( I've yet to have a pair of shoes where this doesn't happen). Doesn't affect the feel of the shoes though

Not much I can say about these. Nice, comfy shoes. Ideal for working in kitchens.

Sorry had to send shoes back due to one slightly bigger than other one so to loose on foot

Look good and are great protection abit big but really pleased with them.
