AideTek AP6100 4 HP 600-volt Switchable 100MHZ Oscilloscope Probes

Bought these to use on a DIY digital scope probject, and with an ancient 20 MHz analog scope that's factory probes are long dead.Would I trust them the same as some $100+ each tek probes? No.Are they perfectly fine for 90% of what I'd use a scope for? Yes....and they are a big improvement over the random audio cables and hookup wire that sometimes get used as improvised probes when a sufficient number of non-broken good ones is not handy.

I ordered this for my home workshop, figuring I wouldn't really use it that often, and I'd have a spare if I broke it. After all, it was only 20 bucks for two of them.When I get it and open the box, it turned out it's the same probe that the engineering department at work uses. How about that!I've been using it for a while, and I haven't found any problems. I've found it accurate through the full range. It's also the most durable probe I've used at work (including some more expensive ones).All in all, great equipment at a really good price.

So much better than the junk probes I had before. The probes seem good, I did need to adjust the trim to get the square wave patter correct, but that is in the instructions that came with them. These should be good for a long time, I am using them on an old HP scope.

You get what you pay for. I definitely got a great deal on these.So far they seem to work well and I really can't complain given the price was less than a combo meal at a fast food joint.
