Size: Overall 7.25", Handle 4" Blade 3.25" .... The High Grade Damascus steel used for these blades consists of layers of low carbon & high carbon (1095&15N20) mixture welded, forged and hammered several times to obtain Up to 200 Layers. The hardness of these blades is up to 56 to 58 HRC on the Rockwell scale providing sharp edges that are designed for lots of use. Precision heat treating methods are employed to provide the sharpest, most enduring edges available. Only quality materials have been used to create this beautiful Knife. For the collectors this knife is stylish and built to last. How to care for your new knives: (You will receive a set of care instructions with your purchase) ~ Store in a dry place, moisture encourages rust. Damascus is very easy to clean if rusted but is rust resistant. ~ After use, wash and dry the blade & apply vegetable oil, or any food safe lubricating oil. ~ Sometimes Damascus steel darkens with age. To brighten up the blade, sand it lengthwise with a worn piece of sand paper. This just hits the raised portions of the etched pattern and makes the blade look brighter. No two items are ever identical; the item you receive may be slightly different to the pictures shown. Damascus steel is a refined method of forging steel where the anvil and the hammer determine just what kind of knife is made each time. The use of natural materials i.e., buffalo horn, stag horn, wood and camel bone means that variations in color and slight imperfections may be present but make each knife that much more unique.

Real Damascus, looks nice, wasn’t sharp
I ordered this because it looked nice and because it was Damascus for a fair price. It’s completely solid and there is no blade play in any direction and everything fits together snugly. The blade is centered when closed. Mine came with no rust at all.But it arrived dull as all get out. It took a lot of sharpening before it would shave hair off. I haven’t had it long enough to say how long the edge will last, but at least I know mine can be made sharp. You can tell the Damascus is real because you can follow the fold lines along the spine and the file work reveals the lines underneath the surface. Also, I sharpened the edge enough to reveal the pattern on it.The knife is rather heavy. The whole thing is riveted together and cannot be disassembled. The liner lock feels pretty secure. The file work on the blade and liner parts looks nice and so does the Damascus pattern. I’m not sure how to tell, but the scales may well be bone.My only complaint is the thumb stub is almost useless. It’s a friction folder and nothing holds the blade closed except the difficulty with which there is to open it. The thumb stud is too close to the pivot and the blade too firm to be able to flick it out. You have to pinch it it and open it up.Overall it’s a unique knife with a nice style that is solidly made for a great price. Some reviewers say theirs came rusted. If that’s the case return it for another if you really like this. Just be prepared to do some sharpening.

Esactly as described
The knife is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a Damascus looking blade with a tanto style for the shape. This is exactly that. There are a few details that make this knife stand out, and first among them is the price. For this price you can barely find a decent folder, let alone a Damascus style blade. The fit is good, the detailing makes the knife pop, and the bone handle gives it an antique look. The included sheath is very basic dyed black leather, but I won't be using it anyway. Overall it is a great knife for the style, time will tell on the durability.

Fake Damascus
It feels solid in the hand. if you shake it, nothing rattle or moves. it is a nice knife but it is not real Damascus steel.

One came all rusted
I just received my knife today and inside the packaging it had to have gotten moisture in the plastic or something because the whole one side of the knife is all rusted I was super excited to get this knife but now it looks like s***

To expensive for quality
Love the style, little wiggles when blade is in lock position. To pricey for the quality!
