I have always loved Angela Carter's stories and this collection really rings true to her style. Every story is so different, it is light humorous reading.

Angela Carter was a much admired writer so I'm rather surprised that this selection of stories is so uneven- some good, some really tedius. Fortunately the kindle edition is cheap so if you are selective you will find some stories of interest. Angela Carters own work is infinately better.
