I have a few spots upstairs in my home where I was only getting fair wifi, so I ordered two of these. First of all, I thought there would be an app to use for set up, but I had to bring a computer near my router to do it. The instructions tell you to connect to the device and type in an address in your browser. Well, if I disconnect from my wifi, I don't have internet to do that. So, I kept connected to my wifi, typed in the address, then switched over to the device and was able to connect to it. Once I figured all that out I was able to connect.However, when I brought the devices upstairs and plugged them in and tested my wifi, I'm still getting only a fair connection, not strong. Do I have to switch over to the device in my wifi settings instead of my regular home wifi network? I thought once these were connected, they were all part of the same network. It totally makes no sense.If it wasn't such a hassle to return things, I would, but I'm going to hold onto them and see if they get any better over time. I would not recommend these. I should have paid more and gotten better units from AT&T.

This is only a repeater. Not a WiFi booster. Spent over 1 hour with Amazon Tech Support trying to get this to work with my modem. She was great walking me through the steps to get it connected. However, it's not a secure connection and could not find my IP address. Therefore I'm returning it for full credit to my account. Instructions sent with this 'repeater' were very difficult to understand and follow. I'll be trying a Netgear WiFi Booster which will cost more money.

I easily installed my unit, but upon running Speedtest I found it cut my speeds to 1/3 of what I had previously. Ran Speed test multiple times over multiple days switching back and forth with my main router and the 1/3 ratio is consistent. I am also having trouble with my computers dropping connection to the repeater and switching back to my main router. I will be returning it!

I did everything that they said to do in the instructions, I was pulling my hair out because I was connected to the stupid thing via wifi and I couldn't get the wifi to come up. So then decided to come on here and see some comments and if there was a question asked where I could maybe get some help... Nope nothing. I should have sent it right back when I saw that they spelled internet... Intermet. This is going back tomorrow, don't waste your time or money.

Followed instructions to the "T". tried every way I could find and several of the ups listed on line and in questions but could not get to admin screen. Starting to wonder if this is just some kind of chinese hacking device.

Well first off when I originally purchased this useless piece of R2D2 posterior amazon had rated it with nearly 5 stars. Now it’s barely 3 with questions on its profile relating to ice trays? Amazon, the tweaking of your algorithms have gone awry. This product did not extend our wi-fi signal by two feet. I’d have better results duct taping a megaphone to our router than through this money trap.

I tried everything in the instructions several times before giving up. It could be my ignorance or the fault of my ISP. But because it was inexpensive, I did not bother returning it.

It is a really nice repeater put we never could get it to work for the oossxx system that we also got from Amazon. I just received a different one that said it was for this system and we got it hooked up and so far works wonderful. I didnt know when I bought the first one that it wouldn't work for my system. I wish we had of tried it when it was purchased a few months ago so I could have returned it but I couldn't find anybody to try to connect it until recently when we found out it wasnt going to work. I'm sure it's to late but I will still order from Amazon cause everything is great. Thank you,Marilyn Lowery
