This light is perfect for my clock hobby. It is bright, takes very little space on my desk, and has a strong magnet. Another reviewer shared how they stick it to a food can as a mobile base, and it works perfectly that way! Great product, great price - I will be buying more!

This little like is PERFECT for my grinder! It has a VERY STRONG magnet that solidly attached to the rounded motor shell of the grinder. The list stem is flexible but stays in place and the light is pretty bright. For the price, a fantastic value.

Nice & bright little light. The only drawback is that the stem is a little too short. I wish it was about 4” longer.

This works perfect for my milling machine, the on board light is never bright enough and when it goes out is a pain to change so this was a perfect option, it’s got a strong magnet and it attaches perfectly to the side of the milling machine and puts light exactly where I need it, not powered by USB it actually has a real 110 volt power plug which is much nicer then a usb powered light.. Perfect option for my loading press too, so I ordered a second one for that too, so now I have one for my reloading press as well and it works perfect there too

I honestly didn’t expect much when I bought this lamp, but I’m pleasantly surprised! The magnetic base is good and strong and it puts out the perfect amount of light.

Needed a light for my 10" band saw. Read reviews and decided to buy based on price. Was not disappointed. Upon opening the box the light was actually smaller than I expected. I turned on and boy is it bright. The smaller size actually works to its advantage to see around when using. The magnetic base works well to hold in place when using the saw. Also comes with a small metal plate and adhesive backing use light on non metallic surfaces. Bought as a single but later saw they come also in a set of two for even a better price. Am considering buying more for other tools instead of moving this one around since they are so inexpensive.

The magnetic plate provided to stick on sewing machine for light does not remain causing it all to completely fall off so it cannot be utilized. The light is bright & would be helpful if it remained attached to my sewing machine.

I ordered one of these lamps a few weeks ago and was so impressed I just ordered and promptly received four more. Though marketed as a sewing machine light, this lamp works extremely well in any wood or metal workshop environment where machines and other ferromagnetic surfaces are prominent -- the lamp is super bright and contains a very strong magnet in the base which keeps it and the goose neck firmly positioned. The on-off switch is conveniently located on top of the base and operates smoothly, and the color of the lamp base and lamp head are gray in color and look at home in any shop. Though there are several versions of this lamp being sold on Amazon, I have found this one to be both the brightest and best value overall, and therefore recommend it over the others.

This light has improved my visual on my material and let's me see what the needle is doing as the thread slides through the pressure feet. Bright enough to wash out the built in light on the machine. It's flexible for the times you may need to unpick a mistake or disassemble something to work on. Due to machine configurations the flat magnetic plate may not fit in an optimal spot on the machine. You may also need to flex the plate in order to make it stick better on the machine. The cord is sufficient depending on your setup. But it could use about an extra 6"- 12inches for flexibility of placement. The neck flexes easily and hold well once you have it in position to see. I'd buy more when the need arises.

We use this in a shop setting on our metal bead roller. It lights the work very well, and from experience, it would work great on a sewing machine, or any machine the needs close concentrated light.

Wrong plug in style, not 110v friendly without converter - not happy at all.
