Well-made. Only for TRS.
This is a well-made adapter that is only compatible with TRS (i.e., 3-pole) 3.5mm jack. It sticks out about an inch when fully inserted into a socket which may be a benefit as it provides some extension. It clamps the small jack strongly; I wish it was more forgiving in this regard. Being black, it's aesthetically classic and the "moborest" brand is small, surprisingly cute, and clean (much more so than is implied by the pictures posted).

Work great, but not with 4 pole 1/8" earphones with microphone (e.g.- iPhone earbuds)
The 1/4" male to 1/8" female adapter works great with headphones. But iPhone earbuds have an extra connection for the microphone (tip = right, ring1 = left, ring2 = ground, sleeve = mic). Apparently the 1/4" sleeve is connecting to the 1/8" sleeve down where the iPhone mic signal is rather than ring2's ground, so the sound barely comes through and is distorted.With standard headphones without the extra mic connection these work great. Nice solid connection on both ends.

Super Cheesy
Super Cheap, super cheesy. the 3.5mm jack does not accept the headphone plug to the finish ... i had to force it in, and got a muddled music sound. when i backed it out just a bit, it was clear, then upon pushing the jack completely in, muddled. I would give these 0 stars if possible. I will be returning these and will just have to break down and spend more than $8 on a product that should be made properly!!!! **note to manufacturer... PEOPLE TAKE MUSIC SERIOUSLY!! PLEASE STOP MAKING CHEESY PRODUCTS. YOU ARE WASTING VALUABLE RESOURCES, JUST TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK!!!
